I was called as a subcontractor to do an emergency job for a customer of his in Scranton, where he is not licensed to do electrical work. We agreed to do what he needed to get him out of an immediate bind for $500.00, which was a favor for the amount of time that we have into it. Sean agreed to pay immediately for that service. It has been 9 months and all I have gotten is run around, rude responses from his office, and Sean himself just hangs up on you in the rare instance that he accidently answers his phone. If this his how he treats the people he is hiring to do his work on your home then I can't imagine how bad his customer service will be. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! This company is totally unreliable as far as honoring commitments, and running any kind of legitimate business.

this business attempted to commit consumer fraud two years ago when they attempted to collect money for services they never did and for hours they claimed they preformed. they came up with an exorbitant amount on a bill after the work was completed. prior to the completion of some water damage, they told us we would not have to pay any deductibles and that the insurance would pay . we had signed a contract that was blank concerning the total, which they said would be sent to us asap(the rep said at the time of signing he didn't have his whatever to come up with the total money it would cost). we never did received a written estimate . this outfit charged us for things like breaks for his subcontractors, travel time and the hours they worked at our house. however, they charged us for a lot more in hourly compensation than they actually worked. we attempted to get this resolved through arbitration, but they failed to do so. we are not out any money, but we felt they misrepresented the facts concerning the work they did and didn't preform. the lesson we learned when dealing with contractors, never sign a contract without the amount on it and the work they would do for that amount. this certainly goes for this terrible service company.

Review: The company charged and were paid for air samples taken at our home and has refused to provide the written lab report with the air sample results.

Review: I signed a contract July 11, 2013 with [redacted] with Mac's restoration. Using a water finder he claimed there was water behind the shower wall, I had called him for the mildew/mold odor I was smelling. When they took the shower apart there was no water damage on the walls or mildew or mold, at all ( and the insurance adjuster and Mac's have pictures of no water damage). After months of back and forth of trying to get the shower put back together when they put it together it was not put back correctly ( then it caused damage to the first floor ceiling because they put it back together between an inch or two out of line) [redacted] said there was water damage in there and trying to get $1432.67 besides the $500.00 deposit I paid the first day [redacted] came out, for not doing the job correctly and doing more damage. My insurance was suppose to pay for this , [redacted] said there was a $500.00 deductible that I paid to him by check that day , but when the insurance adjuster came out he said there is no water damage at all and it would not be covered. The pictures show no water damage at all, no leaking pipes, and when they put it back together the odor was still there. Here to find out it was just the drain that smelled bad that eventually went away on it's on. Now my shower is full of caulking on the inside, because they had to come out several times to redo it because it started to leak and continues to leak to this day. Mac's restoration recieved a call from the customer and dispatched a project manager to do an inspection. Using a ** Protimeter Moisture Meter , and a [redacted] thermal imaging camera it was found that two areas around and behind the shower unit showed elevated readings of moisture. Customer was informed that this may be covered by her homeowners insurance and she may want to give them a call. She was told that if they covered the claim she would only be responsible for the deductible. If not the payment would have to come out of pocket, as is written in our contract that customer signed. All work was done for the emergency service , and then the customer asked us to put back the shower because her insurance company would not cover the damage. Services were all complete . Our office has been trying to collect the final payment for the bill , and finally have sent a lien notice on the property in which we are assuming why the customer is trying to complain so she doesn't have to pay the bill. This is unlawful how she requested service , signed contracts and then once denied by insurance wants to not pay the bill. We have over 40 hours into this project and are seeking final payment immediately . She had also requested additional work and we sent the plumber out to replace a trap or plumbing part and he has not been paid either. We are taking this customer to court and we feel that this complaint is unjustified and would like removed from our site. We comete over 250-350 projects a year with great customer reviews. Thank you
