This letter is in response to the complaint you received on 1-4-2018. Id #[redacted].Everyone pays a studio fee when a piece of pottery is purchased. The studio fee covers the cost of the paint, glazing and firing. The fee is charged regardless if you paint in the studio or rent a paint basket and take...
it home. The studio fee is $6 for kids 12 years and younger but since [redacted] had over 8 children painting she was only charged a half price fee of $3 per child. At the time of purchase the employee working was not 100% sure of what to charge [redacted] as far as the fee was concerned and told her she would call her to let her know. [redacted] was fine with that so she was aware that a fee was a possibility when she bought the tiles. If [redacted] White would have called the manager at the Lebanon location with her concern we would have worked with her on the fees. She did not reach out to any management. As for the cost of renting a paint basket, we do charge a rental fee for taking the paint out of the studio as well as a deposit. [redacted] was not charged a deposit only the rental fee.
