Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Samantha M [redacted] told me she would have her husband the jump but she was going to send a proof (which was not sent for the first jump) and I would have to wait months for all of the other orders in front of me? Apparently, because I had won a gift certificate for this jump they did not feel I was an important customer even though it had been ordered months before? Yes, the winning ticket cost me $*? What does that have to do with anything? ? Apparently, to Mad Tack - it means a substandard product? So, I waited months - never heard from them - and now told there was a date limit? Most of Mad Tack's response has absolutely NOTHING to do with the complaintYes, I saw the product at the [redacted] and was not happy with it then which is why I never accepted delivery? I actually picked up the jump a few days ago which I still think is substandard? I will NOT forego the remainder of the gift certificate owed me? I never received the gift certificate in person (I was notified via email I had won it)And was never told of any "storage" fee? They owe me a store credit of $**? Regards, [redacted]

Response to complaint case number ***:? Mrs*** ordered a customized horse jump from Mad Tack on April 15, ? The order was originally paid for with a check for the total amount of $***.** ($*** for the jump, and $*.** Virginia sales tax)? That day Mrs*** shared
with us via Facebook messaging exactly what she wanted on her jump? She selected colors, text font, and decorative designs? Mrs*** requested at the time the order was placed that we hold the check until that weekend? Mad Tack was hosting a tack swap (yard sale for horse supplies and equipment) in conjunction with a fundraising event hosted by a third party, unrelated to Mad Tack, to raise money for a beloved member of the local equine community? A $*** Mad Tack gift certificate had been donated to the raffle items for the fundraiser, and Mrs*** was hoping to win it, if she did, we agreed to use the gift certificate and destroy the check.? Mad Tack gift certificates hold no cash value, and are valid for days from the date of purchase? Since the gift certificate was used for a charity event, the date of purchase was the date of the event, allowing the winner to use it within days of the event date? Both policies are printed on every gift certificate? A gift certificate can be submitted if necessary as proof of these policies and statements? ? Mrs*** purchased raffle ticket(s) the day of the event for $* each (or for $*)? I am not sure how many ticket(s) she purchased; however her raffle ticket was pulled as the winner of the gift certificate to Mad Tack? As per her request, the original check was destroyed? Mad Tack built the jump exactly to her specifications, which were provided to us through Facebook messaging, and a copy of such specifications can be provided if necessary as evidence? It took approximately weeks to complete the jump.? ? On May 15, Mrs*** contacted us through Facebook to check the status of her jump, at that time it was almost complete, and we agreed to take the jump to a benefit trail ride that she was attending for pick up? The ride was rained out, and we had commitments for the rain date, so she told us on May 15, that she would come pick the jump up from our facility in ***, VA? In the beginning of July Mrs*** had still not picked her jump up, and had pre-registered for the *** *** *** *** *** which Mad Tack was running? When her registration came in the mail, I contacted her and offered to bring the jump to the horse show for her to pick up? She agreed as she had not found the time over the past ½ months to come get it.? ? We took the jump to the horse show as planned? During the show Mrs*** got very upset that she did not win her classes, and stormed off the show grounds, leaving the jump behind? We packed the jump back up and took it back to our shop? On August 3, I contacted Mrs*** through Facebook to see if she still wanted her jump? At that time she stated she felt the jump was “too plain” and asked if we could remake the plank portion with different colors? At that time I explained I would have to discuss the rebuild with my husband, who builds and paints all the jumps, and that I could put together some “proofs” for her to look at? We did make the original jump to her exact specifications? I have pictures of the jump, and I have copies of her Facebook messages as evidence if necessary? My husband said he did not want to remake the jump since it was a donation.? ? There was no communication from Mrs*** until October 13, when Mrs*** sent Mad Tack a Facebook message stating she will be at the StJude Benefit Fun Show hosted by Majestic Meadow Stables, and “to please bring her jump and a receipt indicating her remaining credit at the store”? We do not attend that show, and do not associate ourselves with that facility, so Mrs*** was informed on that day that we would not be at the show and she did not have any credit left? At which point she became hostile insisting her gift certificate was for $***, and she only spent $*** of it? We informed her that the remaining balance was transferred to storage fees for the jump which was completed on May 17, that we still had after months, in our workshop, and had packed and moved to a show for her, which she left behind? We let Mrs*** know that the jump was available to be picked up at our shop? She then spent roughly minutes threatening and harassing us through Facebook? The entire conversation can be provided if necessary? At no point, until we received the written complaint from Revdex.com, did she state she would take the jump.? ? In conclusion, a $*** gift certificate, which holds no cash value and a day expiration date, as stated directly on the gift certificate, was donated to a fundraising event? Mrs*** won the gift certificate with a $* raffle ticket? Mrs*** gave us exact specifications of the jump she wanted, and we built the jump to those exact specifications? We then held the jump for ½ months waiting for her to pick the jump up? We offered to bring the jump to a horse show we were both attending, and she left the show without taking the jump, therefore we had to pack it up and bring it back to the store? Mrs*** then waited almost weeks before stating she did not like the jump and wanted it remade? After not hearing from us for months, Mrs*** demands we bring the jump to another show for her, along with her remaining credit? We informed her that her credit of $**.** has been allocated to storage fees for the months we have had the jump in our workshop waiting to be picked up? ? ?

Samantha M[redacted] told me she would have her husband re-do the jump but she was going to send a proof (which was not sent for the first jump) and I would have to wait 3 months for all of the other orders in front of me.  Apparently, because I had won a gift certificate for this jump they did not feel I was an important customer even though it had been ordered months before.  Yes, the winning ticket cost me $2.  What does that have to do with anything?  Apparently, to Mad Tack - it means a substandard product.  So, I waited 3 months - never heard from them - and now told there was a date limit.  Most of Mad Tack's response has absolutely NOTHING to do with the complaint. Yes, I saw the product at the [redacted] and was not happy with it then which is why I never accepted delivery.  I actually picked up the jump a few days ago which I still think is substandard.  I will NOT forego the remainder of the gift certificate owed me.  I never received the gift certificate in person (I was notified via email I had won it). And was never told of any "storage" fee.  They owe me a store credit of $40.
