Review: This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Brides stay away, stay far, far away!

I had purchased a Vera [redacted] gown from a third party and had initially taken it to another tailor. The tailor took the dress apart in order to fix the netting on the bodice. She used fabric that wasn't Vera [redacted] and wasn't familiar with how to properly bustle the dress. As a result I called Vera [redacted] who suggested that I go to Madame Paulette.

I spoke to Christine, the store manager prior to going into the store. She was very kind and spoke to me on her day off. I explained the situation and she quoted me a maximum of $450 to change the bodice fabric, bustle the dress and put it back together.

I came into the store the first day that I was available. When CHRISTINE and THERESA saw the dress they decided that there was more work than they anticipated and that my new fee would be $1475, which would cover changing the fabric on the bodice, my bustle and putting the dress back together. I agreed as I had a limited time prior to my wedding and was promised perfection.

After my 1st of 8 fittings, the dress was put together in an awful manner. The seams were misaligned and everything fit wrong. At this point CHRISTINE switched her story to "no one promised you perfection." I'm sorry but but $1500 they did!!!

I was still optimistic at this point, as after all I was at Madame Paulette. The dress was taken apart and put together once again in the same manner.

This went on for another fitting, until Galina (probably the only person who knows what she is doing in the entire establishment) came up to help THERESA with the dress. She gave her pointers but THERESA was too stubborn to listen, and as a result once again did additional alterations in her way.

Isadora was then referred to my dress, and while she was more talented than Theresa she wasn't looking to create perfection and frankly at that point everyone had given up on it, at that point.

Long story made short, the Tuesday before my wedding, I just wanted my dress out of their hands. I paid my final fees and took my dress throughly disappointed! I called [redacted] to dispute the charges the next day bc in all honesty I've never seen such poor craftsmanship.

My wedding pictures look great, except when you zoom in and look at the dress. The ribbing is broken at the sides, the buttons are sewn on uneven, the skirt is attached unevenly and the seams continue to be uneven. I'm not even mentioning the bubbles on the netting of the bodice or the alterations that were attempted to make this a perfect fit.

I will give credit where it's due and they did a wonderful job on my bustle.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund, or at the very least a refund for all the work that was down minus the work for the bustle. This is a total of $1025.00.

This vendor ruined my wedding dress and my mindset prior to my wedding day. They ruined my wedding pictures which I now have to pay to be photoshopped to correct the flaws with the dress.

Review: I Dropped off a Vintage Patent Leather Moncler Winter Coat valued over $2500 for Cleaning by Madame Paulette on November [redacted] received a phone call to pick up my coat on november ** upon arrival I was told by the [redacted] that my coat was stolen/lost and security has to go over footage to find out who stole it over three weeks later and several phone calls still no Coat.Desired Settlement: I would like A Check for $2,500 the Cost to replace the Moncler Coat and I will never be able to buy the same patent leather moncler cause they do not make that style anymore cause its vintage
