My response to the action assigned as *** concerning *** *** is as follows:I went and looked at the site and the home for *** *** *he first part of January and gave her a price to take the home off its blocks and get it ready for transport, transport it and set it back to
meet all state and local codes which she declinedInstead she chose to utilize H*** excavating and construction, a contractor with no manufactured housing license (I checked with the WV division of labor ***) lacking knowledge and experience in the proper take down and setup of manufactured homesWhen I got to the job I witnessed poor jack placement and told his crew the jacks needed placed mid way back within the axle group (behind the 3rd or 4th axle) poor jack placement by an unlicensed and inexperienced crew is the most likely cause of the ceiling crack or cracks.As for it sitting in the field it is against the law to move any manufactured home when the surface of the road is made hazzardous by rainWe had severe rain and multiple flood warnings and watchesThe home was sitting on its wheels and tongue which is till they are setup.As for the damage to the corners one was already damaged before I arrived at *** *dbut I did damage one corner getting it across the bridge at *** *** which I offered to fix and signed the paper she filled out by hand agreeing to do thatI also told her I had to order it from a dealer.If she would prefer someone else fix the one corner I broke I will pay for the corner and send her a check for $which is more than sufficient for labor considering it takes less than an hour for one man and she can pick up the corner when it comes in a* *** *** ** *** ** or I will do what we originally agreed on in writing and fix the right front corner....Respectfully,*** ***Madd Mobile Home Movers
