To Whom it May Concern:This letter...

is in response to a homeowner's complaint to the Revdex.com. This complaint is in-regards to a roofing job that begun on September 24, 2016. All necessary contracts were signed by both parties.The homeowner, filled this complaint with the Revdex.com, because during the time of the roof repair, a heavy rain ( an act of nature), occurred on September 24, 2016. I contacted him that night and told him that I was on my way over to his home to tarp the roof. I wanted to help stop any further rain from coming into his home.When I arrived the home he began to show me the water (rain) that was coming down along the wall and on to his floor in the living room. After seeing the water that was coming into his home, I instructed him to move all items out of the room. To be sure nothing got wet and/or damaged by the rain. I specifically told him and his friend that was there that this had to be done. I also helped move some items as well. Then , I quickly went up to roof and covered all open areas with a heavy duty roofing tarp. The next morning, September 25, 2016, the homeowner contacted me,sent pictures, and sent video of damage that had occurred to items in his living room overnight...these items SHOULD HAVE already been cleared out of that area. This was per instruction and we were all in agreement the night before that the removal would be done .I just don't understand why the homeowner would continue to keep his valuable belongings in a room where there was existing water damage, even after instructed to clear all valuables out of that area? Once, I assessed the situation, and I don't believe any one could be sure of what items were already damaged from the past, what items or furniture were in the living room to begin with, or what was damaged due to this particular circumstance.  In any case, I did tell the homeowner  that I would replace the carpet in the living room at no cost to him, and this was done promptly.Due to some negligence of his own by continuing to leave his valuables in a damaged room, I was not clear on the amount of furniture , or cost I should continue to put back into this growing list of damaged items... I did try my best to fix the situation. I tried to keep my customer happy by trying to find a suitable resolution in this situation. However, to no avail this did not happen.Nonetheless, I would still like the opportunity to resolve this matter. Although, I am not sure what was prior damage done to his piano, I am in agreement  that he would get three estimates of his choice to come as and provide a price for the repair due to water damage done to his piano by the rain that came into his home on September 24,2016.I would like to extend this offer to him and would like to come to an agreement to the most professional cost effective company that can repair the water damage on his piano. I will also replace the ceiling tiles in the home that were affected by this rain storm at no cost to him.Respectfully,[redacted]Sent from my iPad
