HAVING TO PAY FOR SOMETHING YOU DONT WANT OR NEWD
I am highly upset that this property is making you pay for Wi -fi and cable that is no benefit to me. IT IS JUST AN UNNECESSARY BILL. I DO NOT WATCH CABLE OR USE WI- FI! I get Wi Fi through my cellphone carrier which I have for 30+. years . I WANT TO TALK TO A SUPERVISOR IMMEDIATELY. I can be reached at 281-348-6670. My name is Lakeisha Grant. After my apartment was even shot into and no plucks was gave about where this lady said no life practically mattered to her it's DEAD WRONG. I Don't want CABLE OR WI-FI DONT NEED IT. I SHOULD HAVE A SAY SO. IT IS MY RIGHTS. Someone PLEASE HELP!

The workers are unwilling to help me understand why I've been charged 2 trash fees when I was under the impression I only had one . I paid the violation with my rent and noticed on the next months rent it was still there . I asked and she said we spoke multiple times about the violation which is true but she never let me know there were 2 .I asked her to email the pictures of proof and she replied "when I get around to it ." Chanda *** who I spoke with I believe .

I paid my rent, then found out Madera's system withdrew the rent amount twice, overdrawing me by $700. Now they are saying it will be 7- 10 business days before I get a check to cover the rent, not the fees incurred by them.

I called and asked what time office would close she said regular time, so I again called began calling at 5:19 pm and no answer.... I came to office is close and completely empty at 5:29. I needed a parking permit sticker for the holiday and if my truck gets towed I'm going to be very upset. Rediculous.

Worst rental experience of my entire life! They need to not own another property.

Awful Management Company!!!!!!

Madera is a joke. Thank god I moved out of *** and it also got sold by Madera to some new unfortunate owner this year. A short list of a the many things they allowed to go wrong:

My ac went out in May and it took three weeks to get anyone to look. Nothing happened until I constantly called and emailed management. Several online requests had been put in.

I had a tub leak for a month that got worse in June- same as above, I had to go out of my way to get it fixed.

A motorcycle that clearly is not mine was parked outside my living room window for weeks. I warned the office of it twice yet they STILL had the nerve to blame me and put a lease violation on my door despite that I had told them it belonged to some other *** in the complex.

The gate NEVER CLOSED. They admited it hangs open during business hours for any vagrants to come in. When it wasn't open, the gate was supposedly broken. The side doors near an unfenced parking lot were always open.

They let WHOLE FAMILIES live in one bedroom apartments. There was a man, woman, and 8 or 10 year old above me. Across from them was a couple with at least 2 small kids or more.

They are dropping their communities in XXXXX this year to new owners, so hopefully those complexes will be better. I lived in those apartments for 4 or 5 years. Great before Madera and only *** after that (around 2015 I think).

I lived there for a year and a half. Water leaked through the ceiling from the upstairs bathroom and had been painted over, the gas grill at the pool is locked, the staff never responded to multiple requests for the pool entry code, the 3rd day I lived there, my upstairs neighbor was arrested for assault, I watched daily drug deals in the parking lot, and they made excuses to enter my apartment on a monthly basis but always said it was just the annual insurance inspection. When I tried to renew my lease, I couldn't get any response from the staff after leaving multiple voicemails and emailing; I had to leave work in the middle of the day after leaving 2 voicemails and arrived to find the leasing agent at the desk scrolling Facebook while listening to loud music. After all of that, my brother rented a unit in the complex and signed a lease because they were going to put him one door away from me but when he arrived for the keys, they moved him to the opposite side of the complex, during the summer, and into a unit with a broken A/C. Then they refused to pay me the referral bonus that I depended on for my rent. I had to move out and break my lease so now I owe them thousands. My brothers air conditioner was not fixed until the end of the summer and they had a deal for lower rent in order to make up for the inconvenience. My brother recieved a late notice for his rent, went to the office with a bank statement as proof and was told everything would be corrected. He came home from work today to find all of his belongings in the parking lot and was told by a constable there had been 3 notices posted in their door and there was a court hearing but my brother never recieved any of them. I gave him a nice new washer and dryer when I moved and they were stolen in the parking lot before he could move them. Stay away unless this is the best you can do.

Madera Residential buys dumps and rehibilitates the properties for resell. Dealing with management is next to impossible, especially when they try to enforce contracual agreements that they do not own! Madera operates their business under the false pretense that TAA lease agreement terms are fluid when they are not. Period.

I was in a rush to move and paid a security deposit and application fees equal to about $600. So I would be three days late paying my first month's payment which was about four days from my sign date. They said they would wave it before I signed, but after the manager informed me I could pay it and became cold. Then during my stay they sold a portion of the property to the neighbor property so I had no place to park as well as those around my buildings. Again the manager let us residents know it was not her problem or concern. They were 6 abandoned vehicles in the nearest available spaces not one of my neighbors knew who owned them. My neighbors moved and they brought in the loudest trashiest people they left their garbage in the breeze way and drew bugs. The management staff began entering my apartment just upset me and leave the notices when I wasn't home. Their were vagrants sleeping on property. They claimed to have security yet after a year I never saw or spoke to them. After I moved at the end of my lease they hit me with 2500 in cleaning fees which was absolute ***. The maintenance team was excellent however.

Slum lords ! I went without an air conditioner in the middle of summer for a month . They refused to give me a new air conditioner instead they put freon in it for a month . Our water gets turned off all the time if you don't take a shower early in the morning you may not get to take a shower that day . Our hot water heater has been going out for the last month and rather than replace it they try to fix a hot water system that is over 30 years old . The entire building has been without hot water for well over 24 hours . The apartment manager just keeps on lying to us about plumbers being on their way . Since they took over this building the place has gone to hell . The people in the office are nice but the company is rotten . You rent for peace of mind . You don't rent to feel stressed out . I am absolutely disgusted by these ss . No one wants to go to work dirty to deal with the public . This company claims to be a Christian company . I don't think Jesus would approve of people being tortured in their own homes

Do not rent from Madera Residential. I stayed at a property named Mission Hill Apartments. Mold was in my unit for 10 plus months until I decided to terminate my lease, electric wire was hanging from ceiling, water damage floor, paint was peeling in tub and unit.
