Review: [redacted], Madina Contracting, is a business that should not only be investigated for performing shoddy and poor quality work, but for trying to swindle customers out of money. He defrauds his customers by asking for advanced payments to purchase materials and pay his employees. This was all a rouse! [redacted] refused to complete his contractual obligation, after I refused to provide the last payment until all of the work was completed. As such, I believe that [redacted]'s intention was to take the funds, and not return to complete the work. [redacted] was paid in advance for most of the work, although the contract indicated that payment would be made in three equal installments, and the final payment was to be made only after all of the work was completed. Instead, [redacted] requested advanced payments within three days after receiving the first payment. His excuse was that he had to purchase the materials, and pay his workers. [redacted] is very cunning, and is a thief. He left piles of garbage in and outside of my house. He also left a lot of work unfinished. He used the excuse that he was going to work on it, but needed more funds to purchase the materials. Additionally, he was extremely unprofessional, and threaten me by banging and kicking on my door, as well as used racial slurs when I refused to pay him in advance of the work being completed. His behavior was very erratic and threatening.

Additionally, he refused to provide me the key to the lock on the fence, as well as the additional key to the garage. As such, I had to pay another person to change the lock to the fence, as well as the locks on the door.Desired Settlement: I would like a partial refund for the advanced payments, as there was work that was never completed, as well as work that was left incomplete and of poor quality. I would also like payment for changing the locks, and purchasing materials.
