Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I did ask for a refund when we were there I asked soon after arriving when we found another camper set up in the only site that was offered to us I asked again the next morning Both times, as now, my request was met with complete indifference It is absolutely that each campsite is big enough for a person tent and vehicle This business is only concerned with maximizing their profit and has no interest in providing quality service to paying customers I am not surprised that Madison Arm continues to deny my request for a refund based on what I have observed I will never accept the refusal because I paid for something I didn't receive Sincerely, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:If this business has not received a complaint in years, it's because no one has taken the time to write one until now The facility was completely unacceptable The only place where dish washing was permitted was a completely clogged sink filled with filthy, greasy waterThere were only two toilets and showers for each gender to service campers from campsitesWhen I attempted to use the bathroom at night, a group inside had locked the bathroom off from everyone else When we arrived, a tent was already set up in the site that was intended for us The tent and truck in the attached photo are in the spot that we paid forWhen I reported it to the cheattendants, no one would come out to see the situation and help rectify it We had to cram our tent into an area that felt like a driveway surrounded by RVs and trucks I am not surprised they are not "inclined" to provide a refund, they are probably asked for refunds on a daily basis This operation is built to maximize their profit and provide minimum quality to paying customers I would not be taking my time to lodge this complaint were I not completely outraged I appealed in person for a refund before we left, but was met with indifference I am not asking for a refund for the night we stayed, but for the night we paid for and did not use

To whom it may concern: This letter is in response to a letter received from your office dated 7/12/We are a seasonal businessWe are only open from mid May to October stSo we have a pretty short seasonThis is the first complaint to my knowledge in the almost years we have owned
the businessUpon check in we inform all guests to verify of the length of their staythey have the option at check in to make any changes to their reservations as we explain to them there are no refunds once they pay for their siteThe main reason for this is that we have set that site aside for them and take it out of our inventoryIn doing this we are not able to generate any revenue for a site that has been reserved for a specific guestSo we are not inclined to offer Mr*** *** a refund on his stay with us. -- *** *** Madison Arm Resort Office 406-646-Cell ***

The reason no one has taken the time to report us to the Revdex.com is because we do our best to take care of the spcific needs  of our customers. So basically  its your word against ours. Given the fact this is our only complaint I will let that stand as a reference point to our record of customer satisfaction. The sink we provide is to make things easier on the guests in our tent site. I can not control the fact that someone clogged the sink.If it was brought to our attention we would have fixed it.  The same is true with the situation with the restrooms. I can only attempt to rectify the situation if we are made aware of it. We can not control the actions of others, We can only ask that they be courteous and not block off the restroom to our other guests. Yes we do have 77+ campsites of which only 35 are for tenters, the rest are for RV's which have their own bathrooms. We would never have not fixed any problem a guest had with a site, sometimes people do not set up in their site correctly but the site are big enough for a 6 man tent, a vehicle and has a fire pit and picnic table. We rarely give refunds, since when an issue does arise, we take care of it, that is if we are notified. Most people don't just keep silent, and complain after the fact.  Like I stated in my first email, we give each guest to make changes to their reservation upon check in. If for some reason their find their site unacceptable, we move them to a different site. In the rare case we do not have one we gladly refund their money then.
