Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This man is absolutely crazy The point is I cancelled the job and he was to refund the deposit It was cancelled because I thought I was paying for a certain amount of man hours for a certain dollar amount When it became clear that was not the case, I cancelled the job and he agreed to refund the money (after becoming belligerent by the way) The point is he agreed to refund the $deposit and then sent his crew out the first day anyway I told them they could stay and work towards the $deposit at $15/hour (assuming he had paid them the money) At the end of the first day it became clear he had not paid them any money I called him and I have a voice mail on my telephone with him saying he would pay them for the first day of work but nothing after that and then send me the balance due for the $deposit He has done neither We paid them directly from that point forward but they have not been paid $for the first day and I have not been refunded the balance of $ He essentially took my my money and left the state At first he said he would pay June 1st and then he said he would pay July 1st and then he never returned any calls after that I do not know what he is talking about in terms of the crew and a credit card issue, that has nothing to do with me and they did not use any rental equipment at our homeIf he prefers to refund the complete $to me, I will then pay the crew for their work, but he should not be allowed to take a deposit for work to be delivered, agreed to refund it and then do neither He essentially stole $from the people he hired for one day of work and and $from us for the remaining undelivered work If you would like to hear his voice messages please let me know If he continues to ignore this I am filing a police report [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted]

I actually have no comment on her jobHer wole story is completely fabricated, AGREED my crew would pull all a particular invasive weeds, THAT WAS ALL TOO BE DONE [ @ TIME OF WALK AROUND ] There was never any work about spreading mulch,trimming trees,etc, The $was JUST too pull weeds, This WAS a FLAT RATE QUOTE ,ALSO there was never a set time frame as far as how long job would take, My estimate was laborers for up too days, depending on how efficient the crew works too complete the SPECIFIED JOB, AGAIN THIS JOB WAS TO PULL WEEDS ONLY FOR $1000.00, NOT TOO PULL A TON OF WEEDS,TRIM TREES,SPREAD MULCH, As far as the crew that I hired off C-L they charged equipment @ home depot under my name without authorization, damaged the equipment, after all the hassels they gave me we are even with them

Business states he is willing to refund consumer the $275.00, but he doesn't know when he will be able toHe is in the process of filing bankruptcy at this point

STOP RIGHT NOW!! DO NOT BUY FROM ART OF TUSCANY! I totally agree with Sherry W.'s review. We had a very similar experience. Unfortunately, we did not check [redacted] before we went to Art of Tuscany. Sherry W. could have saved us a lot of money and a great deal of aggravation. We ordered Travertine Pavers from Paul S[redacted] at Art of Tuscany. To make a very long story short, we did not know the pattern we asked for came in more than one style, and he did not tell us it did. They sent us Pavers for a pattern they chose, which was not what we wanted. When we complained about it they said they stapled the pattern print out to the pavers that they sent on an open truck. There was no such attachment when the pavers arrived at our home. We had to exchange half the 6"x12" pavers for 12"x12" pavers. They wanted to charge us for the 12" x12"'s, and after much heated discussion, Stefano only agreed to do an exchange after we agreed to pay a 25% restocking fee. Stefano said they did not sell 12"x12" pavers and he would have to buy them from somewhere else. He guaranteed us he could get them and it would be in, in a week. We had to wait three weeks, while our backyard patio remained half done and in a shambles. Stefano's response was, "they're not here, what can I tell you". We had to constantly call them for an update on the status of the pavers. They never tried to keep us posted. When we asked them how much the restocking fee was, Paul told us we had to pay tax and delivery charges. We declined to pay tax and delivery and he said, oh, that was a mathematical error on their part and they charged us 19 cents extra per paver, "by accident". When we went to make the exchange, they tried to short us the amount of pavers they were supposed to give us. Again, claiming mathematical error. When we finally did receive the 12"x12" pavers, they were of very poor quality. AND this all simply could have been avoided if Paul asked us which pattern we wanted and handed the pattern style print out to us rather than stapling it to an open truck that can blow off in the wind. Art of Tuscany is an Unethical, Irresponsible and Dishonest business and their Customer Service leaves much to be desired, to say the least. I have also reported them to The Revdex.com. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and don't do business with Art of Tuscany.

This is in reference to complaint ID [redacted] filed by [redacted], my wife.The response from the business owner is ... non-responsive. He asked for and received a $500 deposit on work to be done, and then left the state without delivering the promised work. He is trying to distract everyone from this core point. It is not our concern what issues may have happened between him and his subcontractors. Our concern is that he took $500 from us and did not deliver the promised work.All we are asking for is the return of the deposit. Thank you.All the Best,[redacted]

It is not our concern what issues may have happened between him and his subcontractors. Our concern is that he took $500 from us and did not deliver the promised work.
