Madison Laundry and Dry Cleaners

Review: I had my [redacted] coat dry cleaned at Madison Laundry and Dry Cleaners. My jacket has a black fur collar made out of Sherpa. Upon its return I noticed the collar on the right side had a 6" section that looked like a bleach substance had been spilled on it. I think it should be known when I originally took it in to be cleaned I asked them if they were capable of cleaning the jacket and the collar. I also said if they couldn't clean the collar it could be taken off and I could find another way of it being cleaned. They assured me they could do it. When I noticed the damage to the collar I asked if they would send it to a furrier and have it dyed black. He then said he didn't think the damage was from them and that it was a manufacturer defect. I stated it wasn't and wasn't like that before it was taken in and he finally relented and said he would take care of it. After a few days he called back and said he wanted me to bring the coat back in because he wanted to try and get me a new collar. I said that I had already checked with [redacted] and they said collars weren't available for the coat. I then stated that all I wanted done was for him to have it dyed back to black. Through this whole process [redacted] was very short and condescending with me and pretty much said he wasn't going to send it out to be dyed but insisted he would try to get a new collar. I explained once again there was no way to get a collar and would he please just send it off to be dyed and he rudely told me to handle it myself then and hung the phone up on me. I just want me coat back to precleaned condition.Desired Settlement: I just want my coat collar dyed by a professional furrier and repaired to precleaned condition.

I'm writing this response in rejection of [redacted] insulting response! As you will see from my pictures this is real fur, needs to be cleaned by a fur professional (furrier) and [redacted] arrogance saying he can take care of it is what has gotten him in trouble in this situation and the fact that he never took the time to read the tags on the coat shows his negligence in the matter. I've taken this coat and collar to another reputable dry cleaner that I had to drive over 50mi to see just so I didn't think I was over reacting and they said this should not have been attempted to be cleaned. They said the collars damage is from a harsh cleaning chemical that is becoming outdated that Madison Laundry still uses! I Just want my collar fixed and now after some research I'm finding out it can't be fixed or replaced! All I want is an apology and [redacted] to legitimately talk to me on how he will resolve this. And for the the record, [redacted] must have me confused with some other unsatisfied customer there because who dry cleans gloves?

P.S. His employees are top notch but him and his sons arrogance and unwillingness to take care of customers is what has brought this on.
