Review: The Manhattan Club Timeshare Hotel across the street from the parking garage has a contract with them for valet parking for their guests. We have been valet parking with the Manhattan Club for close to ten years. When you pull up in front of the hotel the bell hop helps with the luggage and also asks how many nights you will be staying and takes the car keys. They hand you a receipt ticket to pick your car back up but it doesnt have a time stamp associated with it. I pulled up to the hotel this past Sunday, August **, 2014. The bell hop asked me how many nights, I said one night and he took my keys and handed me a ticket. The next day, Monday, August **, 2014, I handed the bell hop my ticket so he could call for my car. He told me one night would be $30.00. The parking garage attendant pulled up in my car, got out and I handed him my ticket and $30.00. He informed me it was $60.00. I told him I was only here one night. He said that I was over the 24 hrs by an hour and a half and it would be an additional $30.00. I went across the street to talk to the [redacted] of the garage because I never had this occur. After waiting for 20 minutes they said he had already left. I went back over to the Manhattan Club and talked to the person at the desk. They informed me that a new company had taken over the parking garage and they go by 24 hr increments not how many nights. I feel I should have been told that it is 24 hrs not number of nights. Also, if it is by hrs, a time stamp should be on the receipt ticket so I know when I should get my car within the time limit. I paid an extra $30.00 for not even two hours over. If I had known that they go be hours, I would have gotten my car within the 24 hr period.Desired Settlement: If the new owners of the parking garage changed the way they do business with the Manhattan Club 24 hour periods verses number of nights, there should be a time stamp on the receipt. I don't think I should have paid the extra $30.00 for an hour and a half especially since you have to wait for your car after the bell hop calls. If the parking garage is busy does the time click by until they are available to bring the car to the Manhattan Club.

Review: On 6/**/13, I printed out a coupon that advertises parking at this location for 15.00. When I arrived to park, I handed the coupon to the first attendant who took my keys and parked my vehicle. He handed me a ticket for my return. When I picked up my vehicle at approximately 10:30pm, another attendant charged me 35.00 and refused to give me the discounted weekend price, advertised on the coupon I handed the first attendant. They did not make much of an effort to find the coupon and would not look for it. They were not very busy and I guess wanted to charge me the most they could. I went to Iconparking.com and printed out the coupon for the weekend rate.Desired Settlement: I would like to get the rate originally advertised in the coupon I handed the attendant. I charged it to my amex.

Review: On December **, 2015, my wife and I parked our car at Maestro Parking - a member of Icon Parking System. When we came back to retrieve it, the attendant seemed to take quite a bit of time to return our vehicle. I asked my wife to help me inspect the car, and found quite a bit of damage. The rear passenger side over the wheel was dented and scraped (this included the wheel rim), and the bottom of the rear passenger door was dented and damaged as well. We immediately asked the attendant to view our car, and proceeded to fill out an incident report - #[redacted]. The attendant took pictures of the damage, as did we. We contacted the manager and were told to obtain 2 estimates, which we did. He told us that he did not have a fax or computer, and that we should mail or personally deliver the documentation to him. We then decided to contact the ICON Parking System customer service, and forwarded all the documentation and pictures to them. It was then to be given to the supervisor who would contact us. It has been 2 weeks since this incident happened, with no resolution in sight. We've been emailing back and forth unsuccessfully, and finally decided to contact your agency in the hope that you could please assist us. ICON Parking System has all the requested documentation and pictures.Desired Settlement: We would like to be fully compensated for the damage inflicted on our car while it was parked at the Maestro Parking Garage at [redacted] part of the ICON Parking Systems.
