I purchased a car from the Poughkeepsie branch of this business a month and a half ago, and have had physical possession of the vehicle for a total of seven days. The three weeks the dealer had the car before I took possession, I was not given a straight answer about any of the mechanical issues that were holding up the delivery of the car. I was only told that the wrong part was ordered for a very minor repair, a sensor, and that was what was taking so long. After finally getting the car a month after purchase, the vehicle had numerous mechanical issues. When notifying the dealer, I was told the car was just driven and drove beautifully so they didn't know what I could be talking about. The issues with this car were impossible not to notice. On March *,I financed a Nissan Sentra I purchased a two year warranty also for the vehicleI put in cash down towards the car then signed an agreement to pay monthly through Creot Acceptance towards the carI called in May to advised the car was jumping when it switched gear an there is a loud sound while driving I was advised to go to their company they use for the warrantyI called the mechanic which is located on Montgomery street in Poughkeepsie made an appointment to to have the car looked atWhen I arrived for my appointment they advised they were too busy they would call me to make another appointment they also took my warranty informationThat was four months ago I have called the mechanic and the dealer to make complaints why nothing was being doneThe owner of the dealer ship promises he will call you back with a response that doesn’t happenThe mechanic never returns any callsThe sound in the car is getting worstI truly feel I was sold a lemon

the finance company to have them cancel the loan and return the payments made by the customer to the customerWe returned the customers trade in vehicle back them registered and insured and are waiting for the paperwork from the finance company to supply the customer with records showing the cancelation of their loanTo our knowledge the customer is happy with this resolution

Review: I have had my car about a month now and I've brought it back three times now for the same issue, I don't feel comfortable in the car now since ive had so many problems. The first and second time I brought it back, I got the car back with the same issue. They really didn't try to help me to much, and they are asking me to lie to my extended warrantee company, and tell them the problem just occurred, I personally don't agree with this. I no longer feel safe in the vehicle and just want my voice to be heard about them selling "bum" cars if you will. They have had the car more in there possession then I have. I made the first payment on the car with out even having the car.Desired Settlement: All I'm asking is for is them to buy the car back and I get all my money back.

Review: Car financed by contract blew head gasket two weeks after contract was signed, MAG replaced the engine after many experimental techniques with junkyard parts without providing paperwork--this took over a month and they did not compensate me for the car payment or provide a rental. After getting the car diagnosed in early 2015, car was returned to designated mechanic to fix issues. Exhaust problems within warranty were not allowed to be fixed, there was a new fee for all repairs and all diagnostic work was no longer covered. In the past diagnostic work was covered and there was not a deductible. It is my belief that MAG is adjusting the contract according to the situation. When I demanded answers for who was paying the bills, or why our paper work did not correlate I was told by the attendant "I have no idea", and was never contacted by any supervisors.Desired Settlement: I would like the cost of the warranty to be deducted from my balance, as the company did not stick to the contract and I am not capable of taking advantage of the legal warranty. I would also like MAG Auto corporation, Credit Acceptance and their affiliates to be investigated for any fraudulent activity, including the sale of dangerous or substandard vehicles.
