Review: Mag Realty rented the apartment I had legal possession of half way through my last month of leasing it. I was no longer living in the apartment, but I paid full rent for the final month of my lease because they would not allow me to break lease early - neither 15 days nor 30 days early. I discussed with them options to allow them into the apartment to repair wear and tear in order to rent out by the first of the month, but they did not allow. They claimed to not even rent in the middle of the month, thus making me pay a full months rent. I found out at the end of the month, they had rented the apartment - of which I still had legal possession - to a new tenant on the [redacted] of December. They took my full months rent as well as whatever the new tenant paid for that month. I have contacted their office on multiple occasions over the last 4 months, leaving multiple messages on the machine and with employees, as well as a letter sent to the office and have yet to be contacted by the landlord in order to discuss my reimbursement of a half months rent.Desired Settlement: Full reimbursement of half months rent: $737.50
