I am rejecting this response because: The following have not been addressed, I would like Magarino Ford to actually address my concerns and not flippantly disregard them. Then Perhaps we can both get on with our lives.
The Odometer Disclosure Statement falsely  stated the vehicle had 75 miles on it when purchased, it actually had 31. When I questioned it Mr [redacted] claimed that it was for my benefit and that it would actually add miles to the warranty so is my 36,000 mile warranty now a 36,075 warranty ? I seriously doubt it. No meaningful explanation other then that was provided. I may be wrong but that is a legal document and was falsely filled out and I am still curious as to why Magarino Ford would falsify a legal document, at this point I am sure it was not for my benefit as Mr [redacted] claimed.I was also erroneously told that I must purchase the Extended warranty before leaving or it would cost more once I drove off the lot and I would only be able to get a used car warranty. This is not the case and I should have had been able to purchase it at a later time and cheaper from the Ford website.I discussed new NY plates & registration and inspection with the salesman and believed based on our discussion that is what I paid for,I got a registration no plates and a 10 day inspection sticker it cost me an additional $10 for a valid full year inspection sticker and I still have not received the plates we discussed. I am still waiting for this to be resolved also. While Magarino Ford claims its Doc/Clerical fees are legal, I am still questioning them and would appreciate a fuller explanation then provided. While Magarino Ford did refund $189 for the Optional Theft Protection, it was only after being caught charging a fee but providing no service that he refunded my money. I am fairly sure that Magarino Ford now regrets providing my Insurance Agent with an unsigned document, that I saw for the first time when my Insurance Agent sent it to me.  I am also questioning the Key-Code that should have been provided at time of sale and was not, after being told that the only way to generate a key-code  would involved me having to bring the car into the service department for it to be done Magarino Ford miraculously was able to provide a 5 digit number that they claimed was the key-code.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
The hood was represented to have been original paint and this was asked several times prior to purchasing the vehicle, so the dealership either lied or misrepresented the vehicle; either is bad business practices.  I am giving them the chance to correct their misrepresentation by correcting the issues that were noted and immediately brought to their attention.   The dent in the quarter panel was to be fixed as well as the dent in the side door. The passenger door was fixed. Additional damage was done to the car by their "dent repair guy". The originally negotiated price was reneged on by [redacted], because the dealership was going to incur additional costs. The good faith that these issues would be corrected was accepted on my part and never acted upon by the dealer.  The estimate was provided by the dealer's third party body shop. I never agreed to have their third party fix the car. I requested a check for 1/2 the cost of the repainting of the hood based on the estimate of their third party - not mine which was higher.  That check has still not arrived after several times promised by the salesman, [redacted].  Yes, I expect the dealer to stand by their representation and the fact that the dent was to be fixed as a condition of delivery.   A check for the paint and dent will be accepted. I will not accept using their third party shop, but I was not requested any additional reimbursement than what their contact provided.   The dealership tried to evade the situation and hope I would give up...that is the only thing [redacted] tried to do.  The vehicle is still available for inspection as it has yet to be fixed since the dealership agreed to be responsible for repairs. This has been going on since July 2014 when they were immediately notified. I would be happy to provide written documentation from the dealership's representative to support their agreement to fix the dent and provide payment for the hood repair.

Review: I visited the dealership October 30, 2014 and wound up trading in my vehicle and leasing a new [redacted] that same day. A few days later I received an invoice in the mail showing a posting of $289.86 as of October 30,2014 with an additional amount due $289.86 as of November 29, 2014. To my understanding the oct 30 posting was to be applied for November as I would have actually driven the car for that month and subsequently thereafter I would pay each monthly amount due on the end of each month. It is not clear to me why they took the full amount and applied it to the prior month of October when I didn't obtain the vehicle till end of that month and had only driven it a few days when the invoice was mailed to me. Also, when notice was sent to me regarding the license plate there was a bill attached for $52.5 that was not disclosed and should have been included in the original paperwork signed that day. When I questioned this to salesman on the floor I was told "they don't make any money off that' (meaning license place added charges).Desired Settlement: I strongly request the October payment of $289.86 be posted as of November 29, 2014 making my first payment due December as to my original understanding of the lease agreement. I also request they refund the $52.50 as these charges were not made known to me beforehand and should have been part of the agreement and not added after the fact. Both of these amounts in question were never made aware to me therefore I feel they should be corrected accordingly. I thank you in advance for your time and consideration on this matter.

Review: Misrepresented product & repair resulting in additional damage. Purchased vehicle under false representation that car had original paint. Asked many questions, several times due to concerns vehicle had no prior accident involvement; it was one year old & had approx 14,000 miles. After car taken home, I discovered this was false. After purchase, Dealer admitted hood was not original paint. [redacted] agreed to pay for 1/2 cost of repainting & I was provided written estimate. I told them I prefer using a different body shop, my phone calls and texts (primary mode of contact) to salesman, [redacted] were no longer returned . Estimate provided by Magarino totalled $789.89. During purchase process, there were 2 small dents in passenger side. [redacted] agreed to have fixed prior to my finalizing purchase. The dent on the door near mirror was fixed, but the crease in the rear quarter panel was not. This was a term of the deal. The crease in the quarter panel was attempted to be repaired by a "dent guy" who caused additional damage by drilling a hole in the inside door jamb; however, the dent remains. The negotiated price of the car was reduced when the damage to be fixed was brought to dealership attention. [redacted] reneged on a few hundred dollars in order to cover the cost of remairing the dents. I had agreed to a renegotiated cost, because I wanted the dents fixed. Since I in essence paid for the dent to be fixed, I expect it to be done along with the proper repair of the additional damage caused by the "dent guy". I relied on the representation that the paint was original to make my purchase (or I would have bought new car), and [redacted] agreed to pay for the repaint of the hood, I expect the dealership to stand behind their representations. The repair done to the dent on the door was inferior quality and it is still visible and I will not use the same body shop which is vested with the dealership and provide poor quality.Desired Settlement: Payment for the repaint of hood as agreed and payment for proper repair of the dent in the quarter panel and additional damage caused by the first attempt. The written quote for repair received from a third party, very reputable, body shop that does quality work is approximately $1,500 and copy of quote can be provided.

Review: I believe I was misled and lied to about (a) the Extended Warranty, I was told if I didn't purchase it before leaving and that if I changed my mind later I could only purchase a used car warranty for more money and less coverage. With all the technology in the C-Max I bowed to pressure and bought the warranty on the spot without being able to research the cost or benefits of the plan.( b) when I got home and reviewed the numbers I saw a couple of items that I wasn’t familiar with and that were not mentioned at the dealership, one was a total of $349 that included a Documentary fee Clerical Expense of $174.50 and Document Transmittal Fee $174.50. (c) Optional Theft Registration Fee $189. (d) I also noticed after reviewing the owner’s manual that I wasn't given the Key Code Tag with the information needed to duplicate key fobs if necessary.(e) When we discussed lincense plates & registration & inspection I opted for new plates and believed that the $215 I paid would cover it as we had agreed, all I received was a registration and 10 day inspection sticker, no plates. (f) I asked [redacted] and [redacted] both why the new car Odometer Disclosure Statement read 75 miles when the car only had 31 miles when I bought it.Desired Settlement: I would like all the fees explained and any of the above fees that were not requested or fulfilled or legitimate refunded. I would like the key code that was supposed to be supplied to me at the time of sale supplied with guarantee that it is a valid key-code. I would like an explanation as to why the Odometer Disclosure Statement was not accurate. I would like to know when my license plates will be supplied.

I am rejecting this response because: Although Mr [redacted] did refund $189 for Optional Theft Protection that was never in effect, please find enclosed a copy of a document that Mr [redacted] supplied to my Insurance Company$189 was refunded only after me repeatedly inquiring about it with Mr [redacted] and asking him to produce proof, note that it is not signed and the acceptance box is not checked, no decals were affixed to the vehicle as required in the document.
