The manager or owner of the Shell Magazine Gas Station is not telling the
truth about my history with the clutch dis-repair In their message, they say that I refused to leave the car overnight at the gas station for proper diagnosis They never asked me to do that! They simply asked me to bring it in when the clutch was actually freezing, and in fact, the last time *** (at the gas station) worked on the car, I had brought it in and asked him to drive it right away so he could feel it He absolutely percent admitted to experiencing the freezing of the clutch So that excuse is not valid! In fact, he claimed to do a small repair on that very day When I went to pick up the car, I asked if he was able to finally and completley fix the clutch, after months of many phone calls to him and visits He said, "I think so." I asked him to clarify his answer I told him I was leaving town on a road trip that weekend If he wasn't sure whether he fixed it, would it be safe to drive? He said it would be safe He said just to pump the clutch in the morning, before driving, to make sure everything would work out It was in fact on that particular road trip, after *** said it was safe, that the clutch froze and I was in an accident as a result I'm getting discouraged that the Revdex.com is simply going to engage in a bunch of back and forth emails with the business manager and owner, rather than getting to the bottom of best practices in the field It seems to me that you would want to research information from other reliable and well-known car repair shops in the area to learn about best practices I did And only after I put in the time for my research did I try to mediate this ordeal through *** *** *** I then reached out to you Here's what I found in my research to date: No other garage states that they would absolutely need to feel the clutch freeze in order to diagnosis the problem properly As mechanics, they are accustomed to hearing what the auto driver experiences and diagnosing the problem by looking at the internal workings of the car So, the notion that I absolutely had to bring the car in while the clutch was freezing, in order for *** to see that it was happening is just a specious claim at the outset and it just reinforces that the garage is being defensive and looking for excuses Even though it's entirely possible to diagnose this particular clutch problem without experiencing it, I did indeed bring it in on a morning it was stuck in a clutch freeze *** drove it and experienced the problem the way he claims he needs to experience it So, the notion that I didn't leave the car or bring it in for them to experience the freezing is just plain wrong *** told me on that day that he did indeed experience it This is why he made another stab at a repair The repair didn't work, of course But ask yourself the question: If the garage is claiming I didn't give the car to them to experience the clutch freeze, why did they make another attempt at a repair on it?
