In Aug 2015, I had stent surgery and had to stay in the hospital overnight.When released I was told by a doctor to contact office and schedule a followup I did that and then they billed insurance and me for an office visit.Said this was a procedure and not surgery.This is a misrepintation to me and I think a rip off.Great doctor but billing is bad

My husband, *** ***, has been seen at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center on several occasions, through their emergency room When he was seen in the ER and released, we have paid a $copay for those services When he was seen in the ER and then admitted to the hospital, however, we are not required to pay that copay It is waived when the patient is admitted On February and again on March 1, *** was seen in the ER and then admitted to the Parma Medical Center On February 16, it was determined that his condition was serious enough to warrant transfer to the University Hospital main campus That transfer took place on February On March 1, *** was treated at Parma Medical Center and released on March Parma Medical Center submitted the February claim on our insurance as *** being admitted "for observation." That is not correct We have notified them of the error in their submission of our claim They have not responded to our repeat

Back in August of I had a physical done at the Offices of Dr *** *** and Dr *** *** a few weeks later I get a bill from university hospital /Parma center Laboratory for $I was totally shocked because my husband has excellent insurance and most if not all should have been covered, so after some speaking with our ins co they confirmed that the bloodwork absolutely would be covered provided Dx codes were corrected and the claim re-submitted I provided all the information to the billing office, the fax number even the attn who all the leg work was done for them, all they had to do was call the Drs offIce and get the right Dx codes I sent countless letters to them, countless phone calls with absolutely no resolution and now they have the nerve to threaten collection action against me when I have done nothing wrong not to mention the office of Dr *** where the bloodwork was initiated has been equally uncooperative, I called their office and I told the recept
