We are in receipt of your letter dated 8/8/regarding the above referenced complaint tiled by *** *** at *** *** *** *** *Y on 8/6/Ms*** has been a customer of *** Landscaping, Incfor the past 2--1/yearsThere has been several issues that we have
tried to work through with her since the beginning of our business relationshipOne issue is getting access to her locked backyard and the other is the huge amount of dog excrement that is all over the back yardI have advised her on numerous occasions that the gate to the back yard must be unlocked on Mondays (her day of cutting service) and vehicles in the driveway moved to one side to give access for our lawn cutting equipment to get to the back yardIn addition, we do not cut over piles of dog poop as this gets all over our equipment and the shoes/clothes of our employees (a health hazard)That is why there are areas of her back yard that appear not to be cutWe mow around the piles until they are removedThe back gate has been locked more than 3/of the times that we cut on MondaysThere have been times that we have stopped our work and knocked on the front door and have not received a responseIn those cases, we have had to skip the back lawnThe fee for weekly service is charged each time our crew shows up and performs the cutting/edging services regardless if there is access to back yardThe back yard makes up about 1/of the total cutting areaWe do not discount on the weeks that we do not get backyard access for the reason that we do not charge extra for the weeks that we do get access and the lawn is very long and takes much longer to cutIn some instances, the excess, long grass that is cut in the back has to be hand-rakedThis hand raking was a very unpleasant experience for our workers due to the raked up dog poop that had to be picked up with the grass cuttingsWe do not charge for any of this extra time or inconvenienceIt is a customer's responsibility to pick up after their own dogWe have been in business for over years and have an impeccable customer service recordOur relationship with our customers is very important to us and we try to resolve all issues amicablyl personally called Mrs*** (no answer) and stopped at her house after she left a phone message a few months ago. She was not at home and this is the first I'm hearing that there is a billing issueI would be happy to review our billing records if she were to indicate which date she is claiming that there was no cutWe service several of her neighbors, so we can easily confirm the accuracy of her claim if the service was rendered on a particular date.
