Magi Travel

My wife and I booked a Holy Land/Jordan tour with MAGI Travel that would’ve departed April 26 of this year. MAGI Travel chose to reschedule the tour for next April instead of cancelling the tour. The travel company also chose to delete Jordan with an excursion to the ancient and historical city of Petra from the rescheduled itinerary with the reason of making for a more relaxed itinerary. The travel company is offering a credit voucher for the full land tour price to be used on any of their destinations good for a period of 2 years or it could be transferred to another person. They are asking for a decision on the credit voucher by 5/1/2020 or the offer is null and void. Seeing Petra was a very important part in our decision to take this tour, if I wanted a more relaxed itinerary I would have gone to the beach. I don’t know if we will be able to take the tour next April at this time and I have no guarantee that the company will be in business for the next 2 years to honor their voucher, I could be left holding a worthless piece of paper and they would keep $8790 of my money. I am retired and I don’t want to take this chance with my money. It says in writing on their brochure “no refunds within 90 days of departure “ so I see no reason I can’t get a refund. I have notified the company in writing I would like a refund without any luck.
