I had a technician come out to my condo on 8/4/by the name of DavidHe was min late and in a bad moodHe reported to the insurance that my microwave was installed too close to the stove, so it should not be coveredHe said that it was a "code violation' He said it needed to be inches from the stove and its only inchesI called to get the code number ( NO SUCH CODE) and they refused to give it to meI called the building commission in Sacramento and he assured me there is no couch codeHe said that I should look at the installation instructions and see what it saysI did and found that it is actually inches above what is necessaryFor some crazy reason, "David" can say whatever he wants and the insurance DOES NOT and WON'T look up if he is correctDavid said that my only option is remodel my kitchen to have the microwave movedI have lived here for over years and bought the place this way!
