Magic Corsets & Lingerie Reviews (2)

To Whom It May Concern,
It has recently came to our attention that a customer of ours, [redacted], has filed a complaint against Magic Corsets with the Revdex.com.
We understand...

that she is upset with her experience for the reasons she listed in her complaint, and are sorry for the negative experience that she seems to have had. We are committed to customer satisfaction in every way possible, and would like to do anything within our power to help make the situation right.
We understand that there are times where our staff may not handle every situation as well as possible and it is also possible that an occasional mis-communication can occur that would result in a negative experience such as the one that [redacted] claims to have had with our store.
We have gone through all of our records for this transaction and have presented the facts below:
1. The customer had previously shopped in our store on several occasions.
2. She came in on the day of the transaction (August **, 2014) looking to purchase a long corset.
3. After spending about a half hour with her, and allowing her to try a couple of different pieces, the sales person said she found one that she was very happy with and decided to make a purchase.
4. The customer decided to split up the purchase, which was $239.00, into 2 credit cards and $39 in cash. As is standard protocol, the item that was rung up, placed into the product box, and then into a shopping bag at time of purchase. She signed the credit card slips and was given her receipt, as we always do after every sale.
5. At the time of sale, the customer's receipt and signage in the store clearly stated that there are “NO REFNDS- EXCHANGES WITHIN 7 DAYS.”
6. On October **, 2014 [redacted] returned to Magic Corsets and demanded a refund or exchange for the corset. At the time of purchase, she did not mention anything about the garment being the wrong size, but on October [redacted], she no longer liked the garment and now wanted to exchange it. The sales person then asked her for her receipt; to which she replied that she does not have the receipt.
7. After inspecting the corset, there was a stain on it, which clearly showed that the piece had been worn. There were also no tags on the corset.
8. Our store policy, as was displayed in the store, is “No Cash Refunds. Exchanges Only” By the time the customer came in to ask for a refund or exchange, the 7 day exchange period had been expired for over a month. (The 7 Day Rule is clearly stated on the receipt that is issued at time of purchase) The article was no longer in condition to be resold as it was now used.
9. Despite the fact the customer was in clear violation of all our posted policies, she became upset and said that she would give us a hard time if we did not submit to her demands and exchange or return her corset.
In summary, after looking at all the facts, it is clear to us that there must be come kind of mis-communicaiton here and we would like to go the extra mile to help make the situation better and avoid anything like this from ever happening again.
What we are willing to do is make a one-time exception for [redacted] and allow her to exchange her corset for a new one, despite the fact that the 7 day exchange policy has expired, she does not have a receipt, the corset has no tags, and it has already been used.
In addition to this, we have revised our in-store signage to make our Exchange Policy even more clear to all our customers. We have also placed it on display in our fitting rooms, so all customers are aware of the policy before they make a purchase and we can avoid any mis-communications from straining our relationships with our valued customers in the future. (To see the revised signage, please visit [redacted] )
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us to correct this issue so we can better serve our customers in the future.
Please reach out with any questions or if there is anything else that we can do to be of service.
Sincerely,
Magic Corsets Management

Review: The merchant charged me $240 for the new unworn bra. She put in the bag smaller size item without any tags. At home I discovered that I was given the wrong item. The merchant refused to refund claiming that I wore the item. The sales person requested for me to pay $40 cash + $100 Credit Card #1 + $100 Credit Card #2 and did not give me any receipts claiming that I have a proof of purchase on credit cards bills.Desired Settlement: I need to get a refund for the wrong item.
