her purchases be applied before she paid for the items . Right above that notice of Veteran's discount is also a sign stating "Returns are for store credit only". Therefore, Ms. [redacted] had adequate viewing of the return policy, one of which stated the return policy, before her purchase and the other located on her receipt.
It is not required, to my knowledge, for store policies to be posted on the front of the store, street side, which was her complaint.

The bottom line is that there should be appropriate noticifation for the consumer on their retturn policy prior to entering the store at the latest at the desk itself. A 8 1/2 by 11 piece of paper located about four feet to the rear of the regieter in an obscure place just does not cut it. The consumer would have to hunt for it to even find it. Notifications should be highly visible. The only satisfaction would be the enforcement of my freedom of choice. I would not have shopped in that establishment if I had know that I would have no rights at this establishment.

Although I disagree with your viewpoint regarding the return policy not being visible as the submitted picture clearly shows the return policy directly behind the check-out area as well as being located on every receipt, I will provide your refund. Please return to the shop for pickup. Sorry for your inconvenience.
