I lost my car keys yesterday morning for my[redacted]. after some searching and quotes I decided to go with magic key locksmiths. The locksmith tech was very helpful! Was in my place in 15min and cut me the key the key in the spot even it was freezing outside. He charge me exactly what he quoted me by the phone. Thank you for great service and experience. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

Piss poor service!! Wanted to charge $45 for programming a car key that in the end didn't need programming. When I asked why I still needed to pay that in addition to the other charges (service, code, key) he got belligerent and instead of explaining why the charge still needed to be paid raised his voice stating "do you want the key or not". Dishonest and rude..shameful..I told him I wasn't trying to argue and that I would pay the total of $125, but for him to explain the charge, he just kept talking over me and wouldn't address the question..I didn't get the key.

After I lost my only key to my 2013 Ford Raptor, I called about 7 different locksmiths in Colorado Springs. Magic Key was the most affordable, and only charged a flat fee for the key. No extra costs for keyless-entry. He also didn't charge me anything for the trip (I live in Woodland Park 30 miles away). And he was able to do the job right away.

The locksmith was very friendly and professional. Cutting the key and programming the new transponder took about 10min and the key works perfectly. He even gave me a jumpstart, since my battery was dead after sitting for 2 weeks (while I searched for the key). All said and done, the new key cost me $175.

I initially called[redacted]. They told me I would have to pay to have the car towed to the closest dealership ($131.50), purchase a minimum of 2 keys ($125 x 2), and pay a programming fee ($95). A total of about $500 after tax!!! I am very happy I called Magic Key, and will be keeping his number handy.
