First, I would like to apologize for how this was handled. Second, this should have just been an easy fix and it turned into something that should never have happened and for this I hope you can accept my apology. I have corrected this situation with my staff and educated them on how to handle this...

the next time this is presented to them. I will have a staff member call you to set up a time for us to come out and take care of the termites. I will also have the property and the warranty put into your name. If there is anything else I can do please let me know.

Review: My husband and I purchased our house In September 2014. At our home inspection it was found the house had subterranean termites. Our realtor worked it into our purchase agreement that the seller would pay for termite extermination. They agreed and our realtor set up Magic Pest Control to come out to perform the extermination. They wrote the receipt out with our address and the client last name as the last name of our realtor. They informed him and it's on the contract that there is a one year warranty should we see termites again. We were satisfied and shortly thereafter closed on the house. Not two months later we found termite mud tube trails in our garage in multiple locations and now there is a termite tube coming out the drywall in our kitchen! We called Magic Pest since we are still within the year warranty and they said the warranty is void because our house sold. This makes no sense because the house was technically ours via our accepted offer that was written before the termite extermination even occurred. The receipt is not in the seller's name either. They need needed to do their job correctly the first time and honor their year warranty.Desired Settlement: Magic Pest should honor their warranty and treat our house again since the receipt is not in the seller's name.

I am currently a renter and our landlord hired this company to come out to complete a scorpion treatment. What we experienced with this company was the WORST business practice and service I have ever had to deal with.

To begin we were given a time frame of Mon 9-12, the time then changed to Tues 9-12, myself and the landlord informed this company we both needed a 20-30 minute phone call prior to the technician coming out as we want to be present to go over certain concerns and so they can treat the inside of the home as well.

First we were not contacted until AFTER the technician was complete, when we called we were told he did not treat for scorpions and only sprayed the inside and outside of the home, The part that I'm most disturbed about is the inside of my home was done WITHOUT me present, he knocked on the door and my son answered and he let him in!!! Who does this guy think he is coming inside my home with only my 13 year old there it gets better, They informed our landlord the technician would come back out and they would call prior to coming so I can leave work and let him in

the home to treat again but with me there, its bad enough hey entered my home went throught the house and even my cupboards! I feel so violated! I do not know this guy and the Pest Control company tells me "We do background Checks" are you serious! I DONT CARE THEY SHOULD NEVER ENTER WITHOUT AN ADULT PRESENT!!!. Here is the best part, I pull up to my home and see the pest control tech in his truck in front of the house. I pull up wait 2-3 minutes standing in the drive way before this guy slowly walks up and asked how he can help me. ARE YOU SERIOUS! You can do your job!!!! He proceeds to tell me he went ahead and dusted all around the outside of the house and treated the inside. INSIDE! I was not home AGAIN!!! Only my 13 year old son ALONE! The tech then proceeds to tell me that there was a 20 something year old walking out when he walked up and thought it was an adult but said nothing to him he just said he needed to treat the inside again, Whats really sad is that tech completely LIED trying to save his A** as there was NO one walking out of my home!!! I then put a call into the office explain my issue and they said they would have the OWNER call me. Some OWNER, he was as useless as the tech. He proceeded to tell me there was nothing he can do he talked to his tech he said the tech said there was someone walking out of my home and the tech was reprimanded. WOW!! SPEECHLESS! Lets just say I would never recommend this company they are full of liars, they do not know how to conduct a business and there lucky if they do not see a lawsuit coming for entering MY HOME without an adult present!!!

I was referred to Magic Pest Control, Inc. through an on line service.

Over the past twenty years I have worked with many pest control companies, as

I own more than forty properties in the Phoenix Metro Area. However, in all of

my years in the valley I have never had such an adversarial engagement with

any company as this one. I am a very reputable businessman who hired

Magic Pest Control to treat one of my investment properties for termites.

They completely neglected treatment of areas in the garagage purportedly

because of access problems. Those problems turned out to be boxes that

my tenant would have gladly moved out of the way if told to do so by Magic

Pest Control. When they called me for payment, I informed someone

who claimed to be the owner that his company had agreed to

go back out and finish the treatment properly. I told him I would gladly pay

him when the job was completed. That is when he became confrontational

and demanded that I pay him immediately. I countered with the fact that

I always pay upon the completion of any job. Then he began to rail against

my tenant for not moving the items in the garage the first time they went to do

the treatment. He immediately came down on me for not having properly controlled

of my tenant and once again demanded payment in full. He became threatening

and dared me to meet him face to face. I told him not to threaten me then asked

for his name. He said he was the owner for 23 years but refused to give me his

name. I fully intend to pay Magic Pest Control if and when they complete the job.

However, as a successful business man and property owner I would highly

advise against doing business with this company. I believe that a termite

treatment should result in the proper delivery of good service, and definitely

not culminate in a threat to encounter him face to face. I would ask what

business owner, if legimitate, would refuse to provide me with his/her name.

In finally connecting with my tenant, my tenant informed me that Magic Pest

Control had only instructed him to move things out of the way in the living room

and never even mentioned the garage.

Again, I would emphasize staying away from this type of hostility. Particularly

from someone claiming to be the owner.
