Magic Wireless

On July 26, 2015 I went to Magic Wireless to get my screen fixed. I was charged 142.00. My screen was fixed but they broke my fingerprint.I cracked my screen and took my phone to magic wireless to get it fixed. When I came back to pick up my phone 30 minutes later my screen was fixed but my fingerprint to unlock my phone no longer worked and it was working before I dropped my phone off with them (cracked screen and all). I had already left the store and by the time I made it down the street I realized my fingerprint did not work. I turned around and went back to the store and they explained to me that the glue they put on my phone had not dried yet and within a hour it should work again. 45 minutes go by and I call them explaining to them that my fingerprint still was not working and that they could reverse the service by giving my broken screen back I would like a refund for the inconvenience and that I would be to the store in 5 minutes to receive my refund. The store is supposed to close at 6 pm. I arrived at the store at 5:40 pm and they had closed there store and left for they day. I also explained to them while we were on the phone that I did not live in memphis and I was only in town for the evening. Now today on July 28, 2015 my fingerprint is still not working and my phone screen blacked out and im having to pay another company to fix my phone. Also when I called Magic Wireless in the beginning to get a price check they told me the screen fixing started out at 109.00, when they did a diagnostic on my phone they tried to charge me 169.99 which was outrageous. They came down to 129.99 and after everything I left the store paying 162.00. 142.00 with my visa card and 20.00 in cash. Tony was the person who fixed my phone. Magic Wireless is very unprofessional. Desired SettlementI am seeking a full refund for the inconvenience and the unprofessionalism they showed. Business Response On July 26, the above stated customer walked into the business to get a screen repair done on their Apple device (iPhone 6; to be exact). The process of repairing her screen means using the same parts from her broken screen and applying them on the new one. All parts used are originals the customer initially walked in with and the finger print scanner was never tampered with to begin. However, we also offer lifetime warranty on all repairs with no physical damage done at Magic Wireless. We always welcome complaints from customer's about a defected product or service rendered in our business .Had it been the screen we replaced thats not working, her lifetime warranty covers for that and there will be no problems in replacing that. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I explained to them that I had to leave out of town the same day and that I would not be in memphis another day afterwards. When I arrived to receive my refund they had closed their store down early forcing me to leave with a fingerprint that was not working before they preceded to fix my screen. My screen on my phone that they did fix looked horrible and thrown together. I still demand my refund for the inconvenience and still having to pay another company to fix my screen that blacked out 3 days after I did business with magic wireless. Magic wireless did not tell me anything about a 1 year warranty upon receiving the service thus for I am still not satisfied with magic wireless and their business. I live out of town and there is no actual date I can give for when I will be back in Memphis. I decided to do business with magic wireless instead of taking my business else where like my original plan that me and the employees at magic wireless discussed thinking that magic wireless would show great customer service and fix my phone. I was sadly mistaken and as I previously said I am not happy with magic wireless business and the fact that they will not grant my refund after all the inconveniences.Final Business Response
