Magical Smiles

This is the first time we heard of a father involved. On the 19th he came in to make a payment on his child's account and introduced himself. I had no signature of consent anywhere on file for him. I told him I would speak with the mother in regards to the payments and we would be
in contact with him. She was dumbfounded that he came by and offered to make any sort of a payment. She has been in orthodontics since and the mother has clarified all payments have come from her account with the exception of one for $from a Visa card in 2014. I don't have any payment records from anyone besides her besides that one. The father had never been to an appointment. The daughter is still in orthodontics and the payments are still coming from the mother. There needs to be an agreement between the two of them to set some kind of payment plan up. There has been no payment plan so far, but I am willing to provide the proof of that one other payment. We have never been told he had any type of financial obligation. All we heard in was that they had shared custody but we never heard of any type of payment plan. We definitely want to do the right thing to try to help them, but are unsure what to do at this point
