Magneto Parts

One year ago, in November, after discussing my problem with the owner of this business regarding a John Deere 1.5 HP Model E magneto, by phone, he said to send the magneto to him for repair. I called after 3 months and he said it would be done within a week, and I have heard nothing since. He does not respond to repeated email, phone or regular mail inquiries. I have asked repeatedly just to return the magneto, but no response. I spoke with Mr. [redacted] in March regarding the repair of my magneto. On March 18 two magnetos of mine were delivered to [redacted] of Magneto Parts in Tynsboro, MA. The deal was that Mr. [redacted] would get to keep one of the magnetos in exchange for repairing the other which was supposed to be shipped back to me ready for use. The magento he was to repair belonged to a customer of mine of whom I am repairing his tractor. After the first month went by and I did not hear from Mr. [redacted] I tried calling him and could not reach him. I tried again to reach Mr. [redacted] calling his business phone number numerous times in months of [redacted], June, July with never an answer. I have also emailed him at his website address with no reply. Finally Aug 30th, five months later I was able to reach him on the phone. Mr. [redacted] said he would work in my magneto and ship it right out on the Tuesday after Labor Day. It is now a month later and I still have not received my repaired magneto. The value of the magneto that was sent to Mr. [redacted] was approx. [redacted] If I do not recieve my repaired magneto from Mr. [redacted] I will have to purchase a new one for my customer's tractor and it will cost me significantly more, not to mention the inconvenience that my customer has experienced since I cannot repair his tractor. I feel that I have been MORE than patient in waiting for the magneto. Ordered some parts from the company on 9/2/13 - they cashed my check and never shipped my order. I have called the number numerous times - their mail box is full so you cannot leave a message. Have sent two e-mails that have been unanswered.Talked to the owner [redacted] one time and he said he was in the process of moving and his office was a mess but he would find my order and ship it. At that time he said he had not cashed my check.
