Magnificent Construction Group

This company took money to start on a project and never completed the services. I have yet to get in contact with the contractor.
I meet with the contractor on July 12, 2019 from which he said that he needed money to start and we discussed what would be needed for the designs, permits and survey. From my understanding he started the following week to get permits and designs needed to do the job. At the same time he asked for more money. I then in return gave him what he asked for. Maybe a week passed *** he asked for more money. At that point, things seemed fishy to me because of things he was saying and when I asked about the designs and permits he was to do with the money I had already given him all he could say is that he had done more than I could see, which was nothing. Next, he was wanting money for paint and tile from which I felt was premature because we had not agreed on any designs. A few days later, he asked for money again, at that point when we spoke we had a disagreement about what he had not done. Because we could not agree on what he says he had done he threaten me saying that I will be hearing from his lawyer. I called him on several occasions,I got no answer. I reached out to him via email, letter and phone from which I've gotten no reply. I even went to another property that he was working on and left message for him to contact me, and still nothing.
