I am sorry to hear [redacted] is un satisfied with the repair . We did a head gasket job on her dodge truck everything ran great. We informed her that the temp gauge is no good and doesn't read temp. They declined the repair do to funds. Weeks later her son came in with a blown heater hose truck was...
badly over heated. Again there is no way to know how hot a vehicle is with no temp gauge we fixed the heater hose for them. It was fine. We did a [redacted] not everything in the cooling system which is why it still has weak hoses. 3 weeks went by and the son came in again with a blown radiator hose. Again badly over heated. He drove it again till something blew up because he has no temp gauge. We then fixed the hose the truck still left running great. A month goes by and we get the truck in on a tow truck from another shop that installed a radiator probably cause it was blown up do to over heat. The motor was locked up do to blown heads. Even if you do a [redacted] it doesn't mean you can keep over heating the engine, it will fail just as a brand new engine would. These heads are known to crack if badly over heated which is what happened this was the reason for no warranty coverage. Basic common sence would tell you not to drive with out a temp gauge.
