I hired Sofia for branding (logo/color/fonts/) and custom web design. When hired, we agreed to be ready to launch on 2/16, which was also in line with her client guide that outlined her timeline.
My "start date" assigned by Sofia was 1/6. According to her calendar, date options were limited and that call did not occur until 1/10. That is the end of week 1. First round Branding delivered 1/17. That is 7 days after our phone call, and 11 days after my start date. Essentially the END of Week 2. (According to her timeline, the branding phase should have been completed- or close to it.)
Next Brand Revision Delivered on 1/27. That is another TEN days. Next Revision 1.28
Next Revision 1.31 That is the end of week FOUR. She also said she was working on 'new designs.? I ended up sending her font choices myself. There was never anything new.
Next Revision 2.4? However, the revision that I asked for was not completed.
Homepage preview Delivered 2.6, One day before the end of week 5. According to our contract, she should have done the SEO research and optimization. I have seen zero evidence of SEO Optimization, and definitely no keyword research. That should have been evident in the home page and its copy as stated in the SEO section of the contract. On the phone, I was also very clear about the importance of SEO to me and my business. On 1/24- she stated she was "finishing up the homepage" It was not actually delivered for 13 days.
As of 2-14 no changes or updated web design sent. The End of Week 6. At this point, according to her client guide and our phone conversation, we should have been ready to launch. At this point, I asked for refund to hire someone else. Sofia is now trying to charge extra for revisions that I did not agree to pay extra for. She has refunded a small portion of my payments and not allowing me to use the home page design I now have paid for. I am not the first to experience something like this with her. Yelp reviews show 1 star reviews. I had 12/18 contracted items incomplete.

Refund I would like a full refund due to the lack of tangible items and contract fulfillment, excessive time delays, and copyright infringement on social media. Our contract lists 18 tangible items. I received only 6 of those items. At the time of cancellation, 6 weeks had passed. I will throw out her branding information and not use any of that information in exchange for my refund. I also have asked her to remove my legally copyrighted images from social media three times.
