Magnolia Health Plan

Through my bank, I had set an automatic payment for my family’s health insurance with Ambetter. My wife obtained a new job in November 2018 which offered better insurance. Notice of this new hire occurred after my payment has been processed for the premium payment of December 2018. I called Ambetter to cancel our policy as of the end of November 2018 and requested a refund for the December 2018 premium payment as we would not have an active policy in December 2018.

After many, many attempts on my part to obtain my refund, the company is not upholding its end to issue this refund and deliver it to me. I have been told that checks have been issued and mailed to my address and I have not received any of them. Each further complaint is met with a need to issue a stop payment and wait 30 days for the check to be reissued. I have requested my refund since November 2018 and it is now May 2019 and I still do not have it.

Please help.

NOVEMBER 2018 I FILED FOR INSURANCE. I HAVE PAID ALL THE MONEY DUE. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL AP TO GET A MEMBER ID NUMBER, RX BIND NUMBER GROUPS ID NUMBER, AND INSURANCE CARDS. EVERY TIME I CALL I AM TOLD THEY DO NOT HAVE A FILE FOR ME. MARKETPLACE HAD CONFIRMED TO THEM AND TO ME THE FILE HAS BE SENT OVER TIME AND TIME AGAIN. I HAVE INSURANCE AND HAVE HAD IT SINCE JAN 1 2019. I HAVE 3 ESCALATED REPORTS. I HAVE TO HAVE THIS DUE TO CRUCIAL MEDICAL MEDICINE NEED.
