Revdex.com Complaint *** I have reviewed Ms*** response and respectfully disagree with many of her points but am choosing to only address the major ones. First, Ms*** explained hair on show dogs is not shaved for facial lesions. She also explained that to me on the phone. However, I told her then and want to clarify now that *** is a hunting dog and not a show dog. Therefore, my question as to why his face was not shaved before the wound was repaired had to do with cleanliness of the wound and the hair interfering with healing. Ms*** did not answer that question. However, her letter states extreme pre-operative shaving is not necessarily a standard of good care. However, the first thing the *** *** *** *** did was shave the wound before they repaired it Second, Ms*** also stated that I admitted the dog was left unattended in a kennel for relatively long periods of time. I think she may be confusing this case with another. My father cared for *** during his entire recovery. He is the one who notified me that ***’s stitches were falling out and needed to be repaired. Dad said he never saw *** scratch or rub his stitches either time it was repaired. Third, as for Ms*** request that we obtain a letter from the *** *** *** *** stating the GCVS work was substandard before a re-evaluation of the case could be done. I assume that everyone knows that any reputable business is not going to put a written document together stating another business does substandard work. Therefore, I believe this was another attempt to avoid addressing the issue at hand. *** has had two procedures on the same wound. My Dad provided the same care for *** after both procedures and states *** never attempted to rub, scratch or do anything that would have pulled the stitches out after either procedure. So the real issue appears to be why did the stitches applied by GCVS fall out and those applied by *** *** *** *** did not? I still concern this issue unresolved and believe I am entitled to a refund. Sincerely, *** ***

Gail, My name is *** *** and I received an email stating that more information was needed on my complaint ***. I opened the link provided in the email but was unable to update or provide additional information. So I am providing the information to you in hopes
this the proper procedure. If not, please advise me on what action needs to occur. I have attached additional information which should explain the charges incurred at both veterinary hospitals along with the letter provided by the *** *** *** ***. You also requested clarification on what is required to resolve this issue. I would like a full refund from Greater Cincinnati Vet Emergency of $377.50. I believe this is a fair request since I incurred a charge of $from the *** *** *** *** to repair my dog's eye, my dog had to endure a second procedure, my inability to hunt him for an additional two weeks due to an extended recovery time and my overall frustration with how the Greater Cincinnati Vet Emergency Hospital refused to address my dissatisfaction. However, I would be willing to accept $the amount I paid the *** *** *** *** in order to resolve this issue. Please let me know if you required further information or have additional questions. Sincerely, *** ***
