DO NOT LEASE FROM THIS COMPANY When I moved into the duplex, it was filthy My mother and I had to spend time prior to my move cleaning drawers, cabinets, floors, etc There were numerous things wrong with the duplex (significant marks on walls, doorknobs missing, blinds in need of repair, etc.) that the leasing agent promised would be handled before or shortly after my move-in Nothing was repaired, even after reminding them on several occasions Lessons learned - I should not have signed papers without these types of things being taken care of I was told that A/C filters would be provided monthly - that never happened The landscaping was a mess the entire time I was a resident I requested an early move-out, by letter, and I was shortly thereafter contacted by the leasing agent that another person needed a place to live Five months later, I receive a letter from a collections agency that I owe Magnolia Property Management money for days of rent and a $cleaning fee I never received any type of communication from MPM that they were needing to speak with me so for this to go directly to a collections agency is DIRTY Swindling a person out of $for a cleaning fee that is obviously not used for cleaning is DIRTY I communicated with the broker to try to resolve this issue in an amicable fashion and she was unwilling to admit any wrongdoing on the part of MPM, even after I sent a copy of the inventory sheet detailing the numerous things wrong with the duplex I am an honest, hardworking person who has always taken care of my bills and business I have/had perfect credit and with the unprofessional way that MPM handled this mess, I now have a mark against me Unfortunately not all businesses operate with integrity Beware

Nothing was repaired, even after reminding them on several occasions. Lessons learned - I should not have signed papers without these types of things being taken care of. I requested an early move-out, by letter, and I was shortly thereafter contacted by the leasing agent that another person needed a place to live. Five months later, I receive a letter from a collections agency that I owe Magnolia Property Management money for 10 days of rent and a $250 cleaning fee. I never received any type of communication from MPM that they were needing to speak with me so for this to go directly to a collections agency is DIRTY. Swindling a person out of $250 for a cleaning fee that is obviously not used for cleaning is DIRTY.

I communicated with the broker to try to resolve this issue in an amicable fashion and she was unwilling to admit any wrongdoing on the part of MPM, even after I sent a copy of the inventory sheet detailing the numerous things wrong with the duplex.

I am an honest, hardworking person who has always taken care of my bills and business. I have/had perfect credit and with the unprofessional way that MPM handled this mess, I now have a mark against me. Unfortunately not all businesses operate with integrity. Beware.
