Magnum Concrete

Mangum concrete was a breath of fresh air after working with other contractors. Jake was honest and upfront about the job. He and his team got everything completed on time and on budget. I wish all of the contractors we worked with building this house were so professional and skilled. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for concrete work.

Never hire this company for a stamped concrete patio. The brand new patio has a huge crack, the stain is uneven and the seal looks awful, the crew dumped the excess concrete in my side yard, they broke my gate, ruined by yard and left equipment in my yard for months. I've tried several times to text and e-mail, but no response.

Sad to say..do not do business with this company...the job was never finished. I make an effort to support local businesses. They seemed wonderful when they looked at the job. Signed contract. They did make poured cement front door stairs, they were the only company I found that would do everything I wanted. Ha. Not true. Long story short...they never made nor installed the railings. Worse, the stairs look awful..and over now the second winter..have not been sealed. So in the future I may have cracking and falling apart stairs. Note while Revdex.com says no reviews..there are two other serious complaints. N.B. I was more than patient and understanding....and I got failure on every front. Single women. Spending a lot of money every year to keep my house looking nice...(as opposed to some slum owners in Scotia) and make it more Elder Friendly.....and this is so disheartening.

Contracted with Dave W of Magnum Concrete Corp to clean, acid stain and seal existing concrete pool deck and patio area to be started in October 2019. Pool needed to be checked for possible leak which was found not be affect the concrete work. We gave him a check for $1400 as a deposit which he cashed at our bank same day instead of depositing in company account to purchase any supplies needed (so he says). After many calls and text messages of promises to be onsite "next week" and "tomorrow" he was a no-show. Work was never started. Sent letter requesting deposit back since it is now too cold to apply stain or sealer to area. No response to anything. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS INDIVIDUAL OR ANY COMPANY HE IS ASSOCIATED WITH!!
I would leave a no-star rating if possible.

Magnum Concrete was under contract and said he needed a $12,000 deposit, he said he got a permit and charged $1800 (never filed) did not finish the work he started, and bounced a check that I paid him for $2500 now the architect will not give me the prints because his check bounced to them. I am in over $18,000 with him, he will not return calls, answer an attorney, nothing

Had concrete stairs and walkway work performed by this company. Within 25 days of the jobs completion, large cracks appeared in the concrete. After several attempts to contact the owner, I was able to speak to him on December 6th . At that point he said he would come by the next day and see what had happened. He never showed up or called. Several more calls were placed by me to his voicemail with no response. I have sent a Certified letter to the business address, also with no response. I was told by the owner, Dave, that the work would be guaranteed for 2yrs.
