I am appalled at how rude most of the office girls are. Their new text messaging system is good for 1 thing. Proof of how nasty they treat their customers. If you are late, you pay a fee (understandable) but if your late or need a payment date change, LOOK OUT. You pretty much get called a liar and laughed at. I was told either pay today or bring the car back. Then the girl said "just go to your local bank" with a giggle. I'm in customer service and would be fired if I EVER spoke to my customers that way. It's sad how degrading they can make one feel. I owe DOUBLE of the cars value that I am purchasing and have ALWAYS PAID. After I was told to bring it back she kindly informed me that they WOULD collect. Taxes, garnishments ect. Good Grief. I just wanted an extension and would gladly pay your feel lady !!! DO NOT BUY FROM *** IF YOU PLAN TO USE MAGNUM FINANCE !!!
2008 Chevy Impala paid off 12/4/2018. To date (2/5/19) have not received any receipts/title or other paperwork.
I cosigned for my daughter, ***, on a 2008 Chevy Impala. Account ***. Due to my daughter being incarcerated, I have been making payments and actually paid off the vehicle, in full, on 12/4/2018 at which time the finance company was to forgive a loan that my daughter had outstanding on another vehicle since she had paid this loan off.
To date, I have not received any paperwork, title papers, nor has it been reflected on my credit history.
Please send me the title/any paperwork for both vehicles and report this as paid to the credit bureau.

On 11/30/2018 *** agreed to pay off her lease in full for $3400.57. Three payments of $1000 were made. The remaining $400.57 was never received. On 12/26/2018 the account was forgiven and closed and should be reflected as such on the bureau.
A condition of the deal in question was that upon completion, ***'s previously charged off account would be forgiven. There was an oversight on our part. The account has been forgiven as of today. A 1099 for forgiven balance will be issued in the amount of $6249.52 according to federal law to Miss ***.
We have filed an update on both accounts via E-Oscar to Transunion to represent the closed status and will be in touch with *** regarding the title paperwork.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
After I made the 3 payments of $1000 (total of $3000) the other $400.57 was to be processed via debit over the phone and I had provided the information. Since that day of 12/4/18 I have not received any type of correspondence stating I still owed a balance and/or that payments were late. Had I known the other was still remaining I would have gladly made that payment. I have made several attempts since 12/4 to reach out to Magnum Finance and no one has returned a response to my emails.
I thank you for taking care of the account. My daughter, who is currently incarcerated, also sends her thanks. Much appreciated.
I strongly don't recommend anyone purchasing a vehicle from North Point Motors/Magnum Finance. Their interest rate is sky high and their customer service is absolutely ridiculous. The only one in customer service who is helpful and knows what she's doing is Sarah. I've always called and made my payments over the phone and then last month, they started charging me for making a payment over the phone of 3 dollars. Which 3 dollars isn't alot but why should I be paying a fee on top of my payment? Then last week when I called them to ask for my account number to pay online, they hung up on me and then I continued to call and no answer. Left voice mails and no call back. So this rolls into the next week to where I can't get ahold of them to make a payment so now I'm looking at a late fee charge of ten dollars. I don't recommend this company and the only reason why I'm staying with them is because my account will be paid off in a month and a half. Also will say to anyone who wants to do the 13 month program they offer, don't take that. My credit union was appalled when they saw my contract with them. The vehicle I have right now is only worth 11 grand and North point has my contract with them as 18 grand. I hope this helps a little to anyone who is thinking of going through this company to get a vehicle.
I just recently purchased a vehicle through this company. Just recently there was a misunderstanding with the online payment system which ended in 2 payments not being received by them. The biggest problem I had with this company through this situation was the lack of customer service. I cannot believe how absolutely rude not only the employee I talked to was to me, but the supervisor I talked to after. I was extremely close to telling them I would rather have a repossession on my credit than have to deal with them again. Fortunately for them, the legal department called me and straightened everything out. While I am very impressed with*** in the legal department for taking care of me, I am still extremely disgusted with how absolutely rude the first 2 girls I talked to were. I have been in the customer service industry for a long time and it gave me chills listening to the way they were talking to one of their customers. Unfortunately I have to remain with this company until August, but as soon as that is over I will more than likely go elsewhere.
