I have been in contact with the customer and have asked for the weight of the TV, The customer signed a contract that we will pay $per pound I am still waiting on the weight or model number so that I can pay the amount stated on the contract The TV was properly moved

I am rejecting this response because:A settlement of $37 for an $1800 television? The $0.60 a lbs did not include electronics. I will continue to pursue legal action. I am willing to settle for a more appropriate, fair amount. There was another customer that moved with this company on the same weekend, and had similar issues with items being broken. Magnum Movers settled with them for $500. i think we need to settle for a more decent amount than $37. My television of less than two years is now trash and not repairable. $37 won't even get it the junk yard.

We apologize for the inconvenience.  We are in contact with the Texas DMV as well as following the Texas DMV procedures.  A settlement letter has already been sent to Mrs. [redacted] as well as a copy of the contract that I have attached.  The settlement explains a discount that was already given and received by the customer (on the contract) as well as a settlement over the amount that the customer signed, on the contract.  Hopefully we can resolve this matter.  Magnum Movers is following all the proper procedures required by TXDMV as well as offing more then the contracted amount as stated on the settlement letter.
