Booked 2 rooms for my husbands 50th b-day. Checked in went to rooms and there were cockroaches on the beds. we walked out.
Wanted to surprise my husband for his 50th birthday with a night out. The pictures from Hotels.com were VERY deceiving. When we arrived it looked NOTHING like what was advertised. (false advertisement). We gave it the benefit of a doubt and checked in. when we,( I booked a room for another couple that was going out to celebrate with us), got to the room and opened the doors we both found cockroaches in the beds. We walked out and when we went to the office no one was around so we left. the whole hotel needs to be condemned. there were used needles in the parking lot and just dirty. Did not feel safe at all.

Desired Outcome

to advertise the truth. It's not right that people plan their vacations from other states not knowing that when they arrive the hotel is nothing of what they are expecting. it's like being robbed.

The rooms we checked Mrs *** and Mrs *** in were on the first floor right next to each other, parking right in front of the rooms and where those rooms (161 +162) are located is a parking lot flood light right in front of it - matter of fact our hallways / walkways and parking lot are very well illuminated since you can only enter our rooms from the outside.
The guest checked in at 07:09 pm and at 07:20 pm they came back to the front desk the and talked to the agent on duty - Armani asking for a refund. Armani then called the supervisor on duty (Taylor) and he authorized a full refund, again we refunded they money immediately. When I talked to Armani he said it was very clear from the moment the guest walked into our hotel that they don't want to stay - looking to get they money back for the non refundable reservation they made. For what every reason they thought our hotel is located right on the beach.
I really don't know what the people expected. When you go on any website you can clearly see the pictures we advertise is our property.
Also we have a professional exterminator company ECOLAB taking care of our rooms and property.

The hotel clerk promised myself and Expedia there would be no cancellation charges but charged me anyway for 3 rooms. Manager would not credit.
I reserved 3 rooms for 3 nights online starting 3/18/19 for myself and my 2 senior citizen friends. Upon arrival the rooms smelled horribly and were in an area very far from the front desk. My one friend is highly allergic and indicated she can not stay there. The front desk clerk, Debbie, told us and Expedia, she would cancel the reservation with no fees. I asked her several times to confirm no fees. I was shocked when I found 3 charges of $163.23 on my credit card statement. I called Debbie to ask why I was charged, she told me she would talk to her Manager and cal me back, which she never did. I then called the Manager directly who was rude and refused to refund the 3 charges. I called Expedia and they called Debbie, who indicated she would talk to the Manager again, and call me back. I was never called back. This hotel should stand up to their promise to myself and Expedia and credit my account the 3 charges.

Desired Outcome

I would like my credit card to be credited the 3 nights they stole from me.

This Customer booked through 3rd party who at this time has given the consumer a refund minus one night. At this time the consumer would need to contact Expedia who was the one the Customer paid as we have never had their money.

According to Expedia, they sent the money to the hotel, the hotel refused to provide me with a refund.I called my credit card company and they are working with them also to return the money.

Please see my previous response. I have reached out to my credit card company and they have credited the amounts and waiting for a response from the hotel. The credit card company indicated they will continue to dispute the charges for us. Thank you for your assistance.
