I called the Magnuson hotel in Framingham MA around 3:30pm on Thursday September 13th because I had a general question about the room that I reserved for Friday the 21st. The reception was very rude and nasty. Not only she did not take the time listen to my question, but she gave totally different answer from the question I asked. I was trying to repeat my question which require only a Yes or No answer, but she would not even let me talk.
I decided not stay in that hotel. What's unfortunate is the fact that I am very familiar with the area and there are may more hotels around them. Magnuson just lost a client because of that person rudeness. I am definitely going to make sure that I tell everyone I know not to go and will post this review on all social media.

Unfortunatly, I have very little to say that is positive. The carpet was filthy, it turned our feet black. My friend even woke up itchy after sleeping in the sheets. The internet that was assured did not work and when I called the desk the guy basically shrugged. 'Its working' More than one of the staff members was rude. The ladies who came to clean the room were very nice however. The breaking point came when asking the desk for matenience assistance for the bathroom, were told no he's gone. Her solution was that I walk to the front and get a plunger! I was pretty outraged by this. Then she sent us back with only rags for the floor and we are still waiting for the delivery of the plunger! Completely unacceptable! I stayed here when it was still Travelodge and never had issues like this! Is there a way to use negative stars? It doesnt want to send without the use of a star!

My family and I stayed at the Magnuson Grand hotel in Tyler , Tx . This was the first time we stayed there and it was horrible a.c. Didn't work no microwave and it seemed to aggravate the front desk when I told them of the issues. I was called a liar and disrespected in a way I've never been before. Customer satisfaction guarantee not at this location. If I can't get someone from corporate to try and rectify this nightmarish stay I will never recommend it stay again. I will make sure I tell any and everyone to stay away from that place.

Review: Our family had two reservations, each for one room, both for June 22, 2014 arrival. Both were confirmed in writing at the same rate of $82.99/nte++. Due to a family member's emergency hospitalization we cancelled our trip. One couple was charged $97.18, and then refunded $97.18. The other couple was charged $128.16 and received no refund.Twice we have faxed copies of the hospitalization documents to the corporate office and to the local hotel requesting the refund of the $128.16 and asking why there was a rate discrepancy. We have received no response from the hotel in Minnesota where the stay was scheduled, no response from the corporate office in Seattle, no explanation and no refund. COMPLAINR RECAP: We received confirmations IN WRITING of the rate of $82.99 for each room but were charged two different amounts, $97.18 and $128.16!!! A difference if $30.98, Additionally, we received no responses to our inquiries.Desired Settlement: Desired Settlement Descriptions: (1) The second refund of $128.16,(2) An explanation of why we were confirmed at the same rate but one room was charged at rate $30.98 higher, and(3) A written apology.
