Maha Energy Corp Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
To re-cap, the basis of my initial complaint, is two fold1) Unhonourd manufacture warranty2) advertisementBeing that the product does NOT perform as Maha claimsI previously provided Revdex.com a highlighted copy detailing what those claims areMaha did not even address i.edeny or otherwise, this particular matterThis being the case, speaks for itselfMaha continues to unethically and illegally practice advertisement on their productsThereby , violating state and federal statutesThis should concern and alert everyone and the public be made aware.Once again, Maha continues to be disingenuous in their 3/16/responseI was NEVER informed regarding Haha "not receiving" the defective batteries that WERE shipped back on 3/4/What I desire Maha should do, considering these circumstances that have occurred and for all the troubles they have causedIs to send me once again as they did the 1st time, a return prepaid shipping label, for me to ship them back the defective batteriesI do not and am not compelled by any means, to bare the cost out-of-pocket for shipping cost to return THEIR defective product that FAILED againWhat's more, I want an UPGRADED replacement of better quality batteries shipped to me forthwithSame size of AA rechargeable 4pk OR 8PK, will be most satisfactory to end this matterI believe this is very reasonable.Lets not forgetMaha did not and has not pre disclose their manufacture warranty terms and condition, IN or ON their products, in order for the consumer to be informed and compare other warranty terms and conditions with their competitor products, in store and before deciding to purchaseFull pre disclosure is reqiured by lawIt is not fair nor right, for a business to later, when a problem arises and after the fact, to then advise a consumer what their "policy", which by the way, policies are NOT laws, may be agreed toMaha or any business, can not simply make and or change the "Rules" as they go alongThis is why consumers are protectedThe general rule of law, is that we have certain legal rights that vary from state to state. Therefore, as I was never prior made aware of nor did I agree (sign any contract) to Maha warranty "policies", I am in NO legal obligation to adhere to their demands in receiving a replacement product due to being defective, substandard and being mis-lead with Maha advertisement regarding these 4pk AA 2600mah rechargeable batteries. As indicated above, it is the only manner of resolution I will agree to resolve this case, which is very reasonable under these circumstancesI still contend, that Maha is committing deceptive and illegal business practices and as such, should not be ignoredI am certain, I'm not the only victim.I anticipate in hearing from MAHA/Revdex.com forthwith.Thank you
Regards,

Maha Energy received the customer's complaint ID # [redacted] and appreciates the opportunity to respond. The customer complains that we did not honor the warranty for his rechargeable AA batteries, part number [redacted]. In Attachment 1Email Correspondence, we provide all the emails between Maha Energy...

and the customer, which shows the timeline of events. The customer first reached out to us on 3/1/17 claiming that his AA batteries, [redacted], were not holding their charge and emailed us his proof of purchase receipt (purchased on 2/13/17). The batteries have a 1 year limited warranty from date of purchase, against defects in material and workmanship. Warranty does not cover, but not limited to, improper use, abuse, modification of product. Maha Energy will repair or replace the product upon inspection after customer returns the defect product. Attachment 2 - Battery Warranty is a copy of our warranty policy that can be found on our website. We created a RMA number for this return, RMA# [redacted]-C. As a courtesy, we sent out the replacement prior to the customer sending back the defective product, Attachment 3- RMA Replacement. On 3/2/17, we emailed the customer letting him know a new replacement was shipped and provided him with a tracking number. We informed him that we provided a return label, tracking# [redacted], to send back the defective batteries and to send them back within 14 days after receipt of the replacement. We also stated that the replacement carries the same warranty from original date of purchase or 6 months after receipt of replacement, whichever is later. Over a month later, on 4/19/17, we emailed the customer again to follow up on the returned status of the defective batteries since we had not received them. In the email we stated, “We request that you send the defective batteries back as soon as possible or it may affect your future warranty claims.” We never received a response from the customer. On 6/21/17, we made a note that the customer did not return the items.Fast forward 11 months later after replacement, the customer contacted us on 2/4/18 by email to request a replacement on the previously replaced batteries due to the batteries not holding their charge. We replied back on 2/5/18 explaining to him that the first set of defective batteries was never shipped back to us as we requested. We reminded him about the last email communication we had with him on 4/19/17 stating that if the defective items were not returned, it may affect any future warranty claims. Since those defective batteries were never returned as our return policy requests, his new warranty claim was denied. The customer called on 2/5/18 to complain he was unsatisfied with the response he received. We explained to him once again that his warranty was denied because we never received the batteries. The customer argued that his wife returned the items using our return label; however, the return label was never used. You can find the details in Attachment 4Return Label Receipt and see the tracking number's history, tracking# [redacted], in Attachment 5- Return Label Tracking Number. The tracking number proves that the return label was never used to ship back the items. The customer never provided a tracking number if it was shipped at his own cost. We offered the customer another option, we requested him to first send back the defective batteries and the shipping cost would be paid by him. Once we received those batteries, we would replace them with new ones and we would pay for the shipping cost on the new replacement. The customer declined this option. Due to our warranty return policy and the defective item not returned, we are unable to send the new replacement. Please be reassured that we honor all our product warranties. We apologize if the customer feels dissatisfied and disappointed in our customer service and warranty return policy. If the customer would still like to return the defective batteries to us first for a replacement without a return label, we will be more than happy to send him a new replacement. He can contact us at [redacted] Monday-Friday 9am-6pm PST.Sincerely,[redacted] Customer Service Manager Maha Energy Corporation
