I switched my car insurance to a new company, provided proof of transfer, old company is still charging me and owes me money.On January 10, 2014 I transfered my car insurance to a different company. [redacted] was faxed a 2A form showing my proof of transfer. On February 10, 2014 I received a bill from Mahoney and O'bara stating that on the 18th I would have an electronic transfer of funds of $110 taken from my account for my insurance. I immediately tried to call Mahoney and O'bara but nobody picked up. I emailed [redacted] explaining that I needed to be removed from the EFT as I no longer use Mahoney and O'bara for insurance. The policy number was XXXXXXXXXXXXX. He wrote back February 14, 2014 stating he never received a 2A form (a lie) and that he also mailed me a form to stop deductions. I never received the form Mike spoke of in the mail and it is now March 4, 2014. Needless to say my bank account was charged $110 on 2/18/14 for a service I do not have. On 2/18/14 I again called Mike AFTER forwarding him the PDF of the 2A form he claimed he never received. At first he told me he did not get it, and I was very clear that he had it in his email. He then said he received the 2A form. He stated he will cancel my policy and I will receive a refund check of $110. As of today, 3/4/14, I have not received a cancellation on my policy or the refund check. I have emailed Mike to inquire about both these problems and have yet to hear back from him. If this policy does not get cancelled there will be another $110 withdrawn from my account. Mike is now the only person working at Mahoney and O'bara and I am unable to get in touch with him. I would like someone to help me get my money back and cancel my policy.Desired SettlementI would like my policy to be canceled once and for all and I would like the refund of $110.
