Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this partially resolves my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below As I understand you, the manufacturer is going to send you a fix for a hole in the door of the mailbox that serves to collect snow and water yet the manufacturer says is not defective and you are going to install a permanent fix as soon as it gets warmer, but with no specific time limit in placeI think that April would give you sufficient time and warmth to complete this taskI will till for further action until such time Regards, Roy ***

Due to my own health issues, and of my family members that I help, I was unable to follow up with customers, and for that I am very sorryI had to choose to take care of my family or my customers, and my family came firstBusiness had gotten so slow over the past years that I had to gradually let all my employees go, so I am all alone here, with no help what-so-everHistorically November/December/January would be the ideal time to have surgery as they are the slowest months of the entire yearThis year I'm receiving so many phone calls that I can't keep up and my voice mailbox fills up daily before I can check them all I'm doing the best that I can.Mr [redacted] chose a different mailbox, a less expensive one, than what was approved for his subdivisionThe "hole in the door" is part of the design of it, and nothing is missingI checked with the manufacturer, there is no fix for itI had my installer go out and place some duct tape over the "hole" temporarily until something can be figured out for it.Mr [redacted] has indicated that he was doing a charge back with his credit card company, so I am unsure as what to do nextHe was provided the mailbox that he ordered with installationThe mailbox that he saw on display in my showroom had the same "hole" so if it was a concern I sure wish he had spoke up thenI hesitate to do anything for him, as he now has a totally free mailbox and installationIf he cancels the charge back, or mails me a check for the amount of the chargeback I will bend over backwards and even make a custom plate for inside the mailboxes door so his mail will not get wet and have that fix done at no charge.Regards,Barb [redacted]

Since a chargeback has not been initiated, when the weather gets warmer, I personally will be out with a more permanent fix for the "hole" that is part of the design of the mailbox and not a manufacturing flawAlso, please note that the mailbox itself was not $but more in the range of $With the post, newspaper holder, address numbers and install, the total was approximately $700.I do not have a time frame for this, as I am at the mercy of the manufacturer who offered to provide me with something to solve the water/snow issueAs soon as the part arrives I will be out to make the repairRegards, Barb [redacted]

I don't know why her decals never arrivedThey WERE cut and WERE mailed, twice, by regular US Mail, not trackable, so I can not prove they were mailed or deliveredIf I was going to be dishonest, it would sure be for more than $I'm fairly certain they were just inadvertently tossed out, or stuck within the pages of a magazine and may turn up eventually as the envelope they come in is not very largeI did promise to refund ***, on Oct6thI did not yet refund her, as of Oct19th, so she is understandably upset and is due $This is the mailbox industries busiest season, and I am shorthandedSince [redacted] stated she already disputed this with Visa, there is no need for me to do anything else except to profusely apologize to *** [redacted] can have the satisfaction of knowing that Visa will charge me a $fee for this dispute, plus the $
