Dear [redacted] , Maid Neat is undertaken a detailed investigation into the complaint, which included, taking statements from our account manager and cleaner in addition to reviewing the calls between our representative and the client [redacted] *** Prior to responding I will state that the complainers bank investigated this independently and in the independent investigation they found that Maid Neat was not at fault Below you can read our findings: [redacted] called the Maid Neat office to schedule a residential cleaning service at the following address: [redacted] for the [redacted] of February at 2:30pm [redacted] did not request nor pay for cleaning suppliesFollowing this call our booking agent answered all her questions and provided her with an email confirmation for her requested booking, which confirmed the type of service to be rendered and that there would be only cleaning hours, not the cleaning hours that the client had saidWe have a copy of the confirmation that the client received On the [redacted] of February, a highly trained Maid Neat cleaner arrived to [redacted] *** Once [redacted] learned that the cleaner was a male cleaner she called a Maid Neat representative Our call record shows that she was extremely offensive towards our booking agent The following is quote from our call record: [redacted] - "Since when do people have a male cleaners, can men even clean? It's like having a woman mechanic" Our representative informed her that Maid Neat doesn't discriminate and employs both male and female cleaners and if in the future she will prefer not to have a male cleaner, we could honor that requestThe call ended when she put the phone down on our agentPlease note there was no mention of a cleaning product issue or even a lack of understanding [redacted] then called the Maid Neat number again and spoke aggressively to our booking agent saying that she sent the cleaner home and doesn't want him to clean anything She continued to be aggressive raising her voice stating, “I am a single mother." We later found out that she is actually married [redacted] also used offensive terms calling our agent “stupid", "rded" and "an it." [redacted] said that she will call her bank and will claim that she has never ordered the service if Maid Neat won't refund her for the service [redacted] called our call center again on Monday morning 3/*/asking how we would like to resolve this before she calls her bank to tell them that it’s a "fraud" so she can get her money back, once our agent explained her that she ordered the cleaning service and that Maid Neat had honored our contractual obligations [redacted] said that he is a deaf man and could never clean in hours her house which was the time scheduled and that she doesn't want a man in her house, she was aggressive again, calling our agent "rded, dumb and stupid" before hanging up the phone I have also taken a statement from our cleaner who understood only to use [redacted] ’s cleaning products Our cleaner is both highly trained, experienced and although deaf understood everything he was told He is also trained to contact us by SMS if he is unsure of anything and we are able to communicate with the clientsAlthough he did bring products he fully understood not to use them During our investigation he stated he is grateful for Maid Neat giving him an opportunityHe repays us by turning more first time customers into regular cleaners than any other cleaner we work with I am sure that you are able to appreciate that we carried out a full and detailed internal investigation using multiple sourcesOur determination is that the service was clearly represented accurately and that the complaint is unfounded and false Your Sincerely [redacted] ***   [redacted]

The bottom line is this company is elaborating the truth and will do anything to collect monies from the public even if they do not perform any services. At this point, my bank had originally reversed the charges for me and have been dealing with Maid Neat to get their money back. In the interuim, Maid Neat charged my bank account again for $without my consent at all. So basically they are commiting FRAUD and my bank is dealing with both charges. I also had to stop my debit card at this point not knowing what this company's next move will be. Its quite scary if you ask me.

Review: Prior to my appointment, I requested specific things I wanted done and the receptionist replied thats not a problem and said when they come to your home you can show them exactly what you need done. Afterwards I scheduled an appointment for February [redacted] at 2:30, the company showed up an hour early without any notice but they waited there until 2:30. Secondly, they charge $100 for 3 hours and only sent ONE person to clean an entire house.A gentlemen by himself shows up at my door with 2 big bags of cleaning supplies and I proceeded to let him in my home. I said are you alone? He didnt reply. I then said you do not need supplies I have specific cleaning products that I use because my son has [redacted] and [redacted] and I have certain sprays that are specifically for flat screen TVs. He just stared at me and nodded his head. I repeated myself again and asked if he is alone or is there another person with him. Once again, no reply but a shrug of his shoulders. At this point I started to get alarmed and extremely nervous especially that he was a man and no one else with him and my kids were home as well. I decided that best thing to do is for him to leave my house and as I proceeded to escort him to the door, he started to use sign language. I had no clue whatsoever that he was deaf impaired nor do I understand sign language. I feel someone from this company should have told me something or at least send him with someone that could have translated for us. As of now Maid Neat refused to refund my money nor has my bank Chase attempt to get the charges reversed. This is absurd and outrageous that I been taken advantage of especially since I am single parent who has two children to support.Desired Settlement: Just to have my hard earned money back since I was not able to get the PROPER service they promised. There was no way to communicate whatsoever with the gentleman they sent me that day. Besides I am a little leary having a strang man in my home as well.
