In regards to Mr [redacted] complaint, his pool has been out of warranty since August 1, ? Mr [redacted] final inspection was passed on August 1, and he did receive a year warranty on his pool from that point on? Mr [redacted] purchased a manufactured product and we installed it? Again it is unfortunate but his manufactured product is out of warranty. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me in the office or by email.Thank you,Wendy L [redacted] Mohave County Pools and Spas

We have talked with [redacted] and he is aware that his pool is out of warranty and has been out of warranty since 2013.? Mr [redacted] purchased a manufactured pool (fiberglass pool) and unfortunately that company is no longer in business.? We have been in business in town for many years and always strive to keep every one of our customers happy.? We have come to an agreement with Mr [redacted] and we are going to tear his manufactured fiberglass pool out and re-build him a brand new gunite pool for him.? He has agreed to pay $10,for this new pool.? A pool and spa of this size would normally sell for over $40,and we are eating the rest of that cost.? Please contact Mr [redacted] to remove this complaint as he and Bart have come to an agreement

During my year warranty, the pool had several issues with tiles peeling off that were not properly repairedIt was fully retiled once and tiles still fell offEach time the pool tile was patched, it was falling off again within a few months and has mold growing behind the tileI am not talking about a few tiles, but large sections running from the top of the wall to the bottom of the poolBart was made aware of these issues on a regular basis and made promises to do repairs that were not upheldThe repairs made under warranty were not done well and he was repeatedly made aware of thatI did not purchase the pool from a third party vendor and Mohave merely installed itIt is a product they purchased from their vendor and installedBart admitted he knew the pools they purchased from this vendor were having problems (not just mine) and they continued to sell them regardlessHe has blamed the vendor he purchased the pool from for making a poor product but it was his vendor, and it was Mohave County Pool’s subcontractors doing the retilingIf they are sending in a person to make repairs that are only meant to last until the warranty is up, that is a shady business practiceRegardless of when the warranty expired, Bart repeatedly claimed the pool would be fixed and then offered to come in and dig up the pool to replace it with gunite for $just so we could end this cycle of it needing repairs annuallyI offered to pay this amount up front just to make sure it would actually get done but he did not accept it and I never heard from him about starting the workHe is now saying he never said that he would do it for $but will do it for $10,Again, nothing was offered in writingHe wants me to put it in writing but I am not the contractorWarranty or no, a principal of this company has made multiple promises since the expiration of my warranty to me that have not been upheld I feel that work done under warranty should be backed up as well and it shouldn’t require certified letters and complaints to public agencies to get a call returned to discuss itBart spoke to me yesterday, 2/13/17, and said he would be getting me a contract for the $10,we discussed several days ago.

Maria, I am a plumbing contractor from Huntington Beach, Ca., for the past yearsBefore that I had very successful concrete and masonry business for yearsMy wife and I sold our two homes in H.B., and have moved to L.H.C.. In all of my life I have NEVER experienced ANYTHING like I have with Mohave PoolsWhen we signed the contract on June 23rd, we have had NOTHING but I nightmare experience with these crooked peopleWe were verbally promised a completion date of to weeks for the entire jobIt is now September the 9thThey dug the ground out, put the plumbing in, and gunited the pool, within under three weeks of the contract being signedThe day they gunited the pool, they required another installmentThey were moving along according to the contract, so we wrote a 19,check to themFrom that day, NOBODY, NOBDY show up at Wayside for almost one monthThe company would not return our concerned calls as to why I've been abandonedIt took weeks for the owner(Bart L***, or Cory, there Forman), after as many as ten supposed times they would meet with me to discus the job, to finally meet me at the houseHe(Bart) said that the concrete would be pored on FridayThis meeting took place one on that MondayNOBODY SHOW UP FOR ANOTHER FULL WEEK!! The opener has yelled, and cursed at my wife and I, in HIS officeNOT TO MENTION THERE ABSOLUTE POOR QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP. There block wall is not level, the Rought Iron that is to make sure nobody climbs the wall to get into our pool, can be pulled down by a child, it is mounted so poorly, there change link fence, that was mounted the same way, fell down the very next day after is was installedWhen my wife and I questioned them about the weakness of the fence, we were yelled at by the workers to mind our own businessAnd they angrily leftWord is around town that it is impossible to get this company to come back for repairsNow they are refusing to give us a written guaranty, they want all of the money we owe(we have given them about 51,000, and owe 3,000)Because the circumstances, we have been advised by the inspector, and the Revdex.com to NOT give them the final 3,until the job has been passed final inspectionNow to top everything this company has doneWell, listen to what happened yesterday(9/8/16)*** and I have been looking at a water bottle full of one of the workers urine, that was on top of the inspection sheetWhen the city inspector came and saw that urine bottle on top of the permitt, he went ballisticHe failed there inspection because of this grossnessHe wrote down how disgusting it was, and also a health issue. Now, this part is unbelievableMohave CoPools and spa e-mailed us that until WE moved the urine bottle the inspection would not happenWe are soo discussed with this company we don't know what to doMY WIFE AND I WILL NOT BE SPOKE TO LIKE THIS COMPANY CHOOSES TO DOPLEASE HELP US !!!!!

September 8, 2016Revdex.comEMissouri Ave.Phoenix, AZ 85014RE: ? Response to complaint filed by *** ***To whom it may concern,We are sorry Mr*** feels that there has been no communication from day one as we feel we have communicated with him all along? Our office
is open from 8:30-4:and we have ladies who answer the phones in the office all day long? Mr*** did sign his original pool contract on 6/23/and at the time of signing he made it clear to Mohave County Pools and Spas that he was in no hurry as he was remodeling his home? About week after signing his original contract he decided that he wanted to add a spa to his pool? We pulled permits and began construction of his swimming pool and invoiced him for his first draw which was due at completion of excavation? Mr*** paid $8,with check #*** on 7/1/? Due to the changes Mr*** made (adding a spa to his pool) we had to go to the city and make changes to the original permit before we could get a pre-gunite inspection? The job was inspected and approved for pre-gunite on 7/14/? On 7/15/we gunited the pool and spa for Mr*** and sent him his gunite invoice? On that invoice we did included the charges for the spa that he added? Mr*** did not have any issues at all at that time and came into our office on 7/15/and paid his draw of $18,with check #(please see attached)? On 8/1/Dan came into the office and informed the office staff that he wanted to purchase some special order mosaic tiles to be put into his pool when it came time for plaster? We informed him that these were special order tiles and could take a few weeks to come in as they usually are made at time of order and then need to ship from Florida? He gave us a list of the tiles he wanted, paid for them, and we ordered them from our vendor in Florida the next morning? On 8/3/16, Bart met with *** on his jobsite to walk the job, lay out the decking and go over things with him? At that time, Bart asked *** what he was going to do in order to get his back yard to pool code as we were never contracted to do any of his walls, gates, fencing, ect? He informed him that we would not be able to plaster his pool until his gates, walls, and yard all met pool code? *** asked if we could give him a price to get his yard to pool code and Bart did? *** came in the next day to sign a change order for wrought iron, extra concrete decking, ectand decided he wanted to drop a check off for the extra work he had just hired us to do? We did not ask for a check for the changes but he insisted he wanted to pay it and just get things going? It was at that time that we had our wrought iron company go out to measure his job so they could start building the wrought iron for his job? Please let it be known that all wrought iron companies are on average about 6-weeks out on jobs? On 8/9/we went out and poured the decking for Mr***’ job on Wayside? Per *** contract, his original deck draw was due at the completion of the deck being poured? We invoiced *** and that is when he came in and asked for a meeting demanding answers as to why his pool was not done yet? Bart met with him in his office and explained to him that there was no way we could plaster his pool at that time as he had just hired us to get his yard to pool code? We explained to him that we were in the process of having his iron fabricated but it was just going to take time? He did not feel comfortable paying his deck draw and Bart said that was fine? He did inform *** that per his signed contract and per the Arizona Registrar of Contractor’s statues payment in full for the contract and all change orders would be due prior to interior finish (plaster)? He said he understood and we went on with the job? We had plaster set for 9/2/but needed payment from *** in the amount of $14,? *** came into the office on 9/01/and paid $11,with check #*** (check was dated 8/30/16)? He returned to the office on 9/2/and our foreman informed him that he had been removed from the plaster schedule as he still had a balance of $3,due? He was told once his balance was paid in full (per his signed contract) we would then plaster his pool? As of today, 9/8/16, we have our plaster crew ready to plaster his pool on either 9/9/or 9/10/as long as we receive his final payment of $3,? We can not order a final inspection for his pool until there is water in the pool and we can not put water in the pool until we plaster the pool? We will not plaster the pool until we receive payment in full as per his signed contract dated 6/23/? Also, please let it be known that Mr*** has never once asked for any written warranty? We have been building swimming pools in town for over years and we have never given out written warranties? All of our customers have a standard year warranty that is through the licensing board (Arizona Registrar of Contractors)? ? If you have any questions or need any further clarification regarding the job we are doing for Dan *** on *** *** **please do not hesitate to contact me in the office at ###-###-#### or by emailing me at ***?
