We are pleased to make the accommodation requested by our long-term prior client and waive our modest $143.71 fee. We simply note that the deadline mentioned by the client was merely a deadline to respond to the settlement offer. It was not a deadline to cancel the case after we had already obtained...
a successful result. However, we are waiving this fee and we wish our former client the best of luck in her new home.
Review: We notified the law firm with their own form that we rejected their offer of any reduction in assessment which we signed and faxed it back to their office on March **, 2014 and their deadline was March **, 2014.
We told them our property was sold in July 2013.
We clearly notified their office before their imposed deadline and they are still looking for payment. We denied the claim entirely within the date. Signed and faxed on 3/**/14
Prior to march of 2014 we notified the office on several occasions that we sold the house in July of 2013 and we didn't want any actions taken any longer.
Now we are being threatened to go into collections. Bad business.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome would be that this bill of $143.71 be removed.
We sent in the rejection letter signed by the requested date.
