Maids Of The Valley

I saw the ad in the circular and decided to check online for any reviews. Seeing that this is owned by Lisa Hartman, I decided NOT to use the service. She had been a trusted housekeeper for me years ago - but one day I returned early to find her showing her son around my home instead of working on it. More importantly, the house was not locked up when I arrived home days later, and the perishable items she agreed to take with her remained on my counter. I believe she left the cleaning to her staff that day and never came back. I felt a complete lack of trust in having her company take care of my home.

I am an employee at an organization that employs Maids of the Valley services. The people providing the service are wonderful. Excepting for the fact that Maids of the Valley does not always pay their employees' wages, I would be happy to recommend this company. In 2014, two wonderful staff had to quit and move away to live with family because their pay checks were bouncing. Now in 2016, another employee's checks are bouncing. I know that Maids of the Valley is receiving their contract money, so why aren't their employees being paid the money they've earned? That is entirely unacceptable.
