Thanks for your
message. I don't know what Photo you need but I don't feel conformable
of sharing my son's photo due to privacy concern. However as you can see
from the owner's email, he admitted that one set of my son's photo was
with closed eyes and he took it.  The part he said he reminded me that
my son's eyes blinked was not true. It was me who actually reminded him
during the photo taking: "Are you sure you took the proper picture as my
son's eyes blanked. I was concern because  this is for our passports"  He said he is very experienced and he took it during the time when my son's eyes were not blinking. I
believe the fact is very obvious--the owner took a photo with closed
eyes, and he should returned the charges for the customer. I even
checked this with all of my friends around me and everyone feels it's a
base business conduct.   Thanks.  [redacted]

No I am not. The age of the camera had nothing to do with her son closing his eyes. I take hundreds of passport pictures per year and never have an issue.Michael A. W[redacted]President

I am writing in response to your letter dated May 17, 2016 wherein an [redacted] sent a complaint regarding an experience she had at my store. As I was attempting to take her son’s passport photo he was constantly blinking at which point I addressed my concern with the boy (approximately 10 years old)...

and the mother. I instructed the boy to not blink while I was taking the photo. Of the 3 double pictures I took of the boy he blinked in one of them. Three sets were taken not because he blinked but as a result of the mother’s initial wishes. My camera is an older Polaroid instant camera and not a digital camera. As such there is no “put into printing” as the mother references. I have taken hundreds and hundreds of pictures and this is the first time eyes were closed during the process.   Michael A.
