I've been a customer of Mailbox Forwarding for about years now; I first discovered the business when my wife and I sold our home to retire to a life of full-time RV living (which, of course, means we would have no permanent address, which apparently, according to most U.Scorporations, really isn't permitted, seeing as I have yet to sign up for an account for any service online where the customer profile creation process asks for "address", "city", "state", and "zip" and then also gives the option "I don't have one of those")A physical mailbox service or PO box that would just hold the mail wouldn't have done us much good; we are rarely in the same state more than once every 4-months and can't just leave mail to pile up that long Most of the options geared toward RVers perform mail forwarding on a scheduled basis, but very few of them have online account management, and since we're constantly moving between campgrounds much of the time, that means several phone calls most weeks back to the "home base" to give them yet another address update - and invariably, sooner or later, we're going to miscalculate or mail will slow down by a day or two and we'll be stuck waiting at a campground we'd rather have left just because a package is on its way to us there and we can't very well move on until we've received it Mailbox Forwarding's service has been extremely helpful to us, since it allows us to see images of all of our mail and ever read the contents of pieces that we know might be important - all of it through the online interface and loaded on my iPhone When we absolutely need something shipped to us, we can specify the address of the campground we're at and know we'll be at for the next 2-days, and they ship it there using the carrier speed we select (express if we're moving soon and really need something, or cheaper options if we know we'll be staying a few more days) But most of the time we don't even have to spend any money on remailing - viewing the mail in PDF form is enough to deal with almost everything except parcels or replacement credit cards (after all, if there's a piece of paper that we need in hand, we'll just print it out from the PDF provided and it's almost like getting it forwarded, only instantly and practically for free) This is the missing link that most RVers could really use to free them from ever being tied down to a single location ever againSo glad I found this company!

I was a customer of Mailbox Forwarding, and the treatment they subjected me to is making me do something I don't remember doing in the recent time - writing a review to warn othersMailbox Forwarding and I had it off to a great start: the good pricing, the features, I was in loveI didn't mind they didn't have a number to callOr that their emails were all signed "Support" with no nameI didn't even mind when I sent them a pre-addressed piece of mail asking them to affix a US post stamp on it and deposit it in the mail - and they charged me the handling fee AND double the cost of the post stamp claiming "it's because we're not set up to affix post stamps"Apparently the handling fee was not enough - the post stamp also needed to cost 200% of the retail priceI wonder why it was 200%, not 300% or 400%They just decided it's going to be double the costOKSo for four months, while being out of the country, I was using Mailbox Forwarding to receive, forward and exchange paperwork with various authorities, and the end result was supposed to be my APOSTILLIZED divorce decree from the Secretary of StateThis was no little thing to complete, and I was so happy I was moving close to having that precious paper on hand, as it was necessary for renewal of my passport abroadAnd finally, I got notification from Mailbox Forwarding that yes, I have a letter from the Secretary of StateEcstatic, I ordered that piece of mail scanned so that I could see that this was indeed my apostillized divorce decreeMailbox Forwarding scanned the thing - but here's the unbelievable part - they ripped off the Secretary of State's guilded seal, unsealed the pages - - now this apostille, unsealed, was worth nothing - four months of work out the windowWith no word of apology Mailbox FOrwarding said verbatim, 'No one said to not cut it In order for us to scan, we have to have the individual pages." Yes, they could have removed a stapleBut, sorry, to break an Apostille seal - that's just negligent and thoughtlessWe finally agreed that they would reimburse me for the costs of all the mailings leading up to the Apostille, and they credited me with $- the price of four months and still being stuck with an expired passportThe amazing thing was that as they issued the credit, they cancelled my accountThings still didn't end thereAt termination of contract, they are obligated by law to send whatever mail they had collected for a person up to that pointI provided the address and requested tracking service, to which they responded - and it was their last email, verbatim: "Too late We already sent you all your things by first class And you can call me Ziploc You are not a customer anymore." 'Call me Ziploc' - that was their answer to my earlier question what the name of the person wasI never received my remaining mail from themI'm most sure they just threw it awayI hope that brought them a sense of redemptionGood job, Mailbox Forwarding! Stay away from them by all means!

Absolutely fantastic experience, customer for a number of years

I just signed up with them needing a place to send mail rather than my own. I have yet to receive any of the mail sitting at the mailboxforwarding in Grandville, MI and can't get a response to my numerous tickets I've submitted.
I'm becoming very nervous about setting up an account with them, the mail I have sent there is important, and yet I am not getting it.

I have been a customer of Mailbox Forwarding for over 2 years. I signed up for this service for 2 main reasons: (1) a ring of mailbox thieves had been making the rounds in our fairly large city and using what they found to do identity theft on people--they had been through our neighborhood at least 3 different times, and (2) our lifestyle was changing and we were going to be away from home sporadically and I didn't want to have to put short holds on the mail on a frequent basis. Mailbox forwarding has taken all the worries out of being an identity theft victim (those 13 criminals have recently been caught and arrested), and I feel secure knowing that my mail is in a secure facility and all the activities are performed under camera surveillance.
Aside from those reasons, I love the convenience of getting my daily mail without having to brave the weather conditions on the walk to my mailbox! It has significantly reduced the paper clutter in my house, and I no longer get junk mail, catalogs, etc. which is really great! No more election flyers either! I have not had any big problems using this service. It would be nice if there was a phone number to call when there was an important problem that needed resolving. I have had quick turnaround to my questions submitted to the message center. Probably the negative is that birthday cards and such take a little longer because the senders are not used to sending them early to allow for the transfer time it takes to get from the facility to my house (usually about 3 business days). But we can just have them scanned and read them online the next day, so that's always an option. It's just the special ones that you want to keep that you need to have sent to your home. All in all, I have been very pleased with this service and feel it has addressed my mail problems in a positive manner.

We hired Mailboxforwarding because we moved outside the US about a month ago. Their service worked for the first week, they scanned 9 pieces of mail for us successfully that were forwarded from our address in US. We were very happy. But then it stopped working. We didn't receive notification about there being a problem, or instructions about there being anything needed to do on our end to fix a problem, nothing. We started questioning and inquiring for not receiving any mail for several weeks time. We submitted several support requests. Their answers were always vague, stating that everything was fine, not helpful. We ended up calling our post office to try to figure out what was going on. We found out that the forwarding to from our US address to the hired box with this company was suspended by Mailboxforwarding, so all of our mail had being getting returned to sender for weeks. Of course we are freaking out, we were counting on this logistical solution and this caught us totally by surprise. More support tickets later we just gave up. The customer service at Maiboxforwarding is non existent, you have to submit a ticket and someone that is either not qualified or not helpful posts a reply that looks like copy paste from a FAQ list. There is no number to call provided. We cancelled our account after a number of very frustrating attempts to make contact and get some answers on what was going on. To this day still don't understand what happened as the setup worked for the first week. We just cancelled our account with only one month into the service. We don't recommend this service to anyone. We are outside the country thinking on how we are going to fix this.
