We received the Revdex.com submission in regards to the incident on Saturday, March 2017; at the Beloit Sponge Spa Car Wash.in response...During the time that *** was washing her vehicle we did have a malfunction in where the chain did break which caused the forward progression of the vehicles in the
tunnel to stopThe chain breaking was caused by Chevy Tahoe placing their vehicle in reverse rather than neutral which did not allow the chain and rollers to push the car as designedThis vehicle as *** states was "still sitting behind me" in the tunnelThis action of this vehicle caused the chain to snap, and since *** was already moving this would be the first jolt that she felt as tension from the chain was released.*** then proceeds in her submission saying that the attendant told her to "sit tight," this was while they were guiding the other vehicles out of the tunnelThe "over and forward" that *** felt were the rollers that she was driving over to get out of the tunnel (these are the rollers that push the rear tires through the wash length of the car wash but were now stationary due to the chain break)According to her statement that we received from you she left the location to go and look for damage Once she returned to the location one of our managers was now on site and spoke with her and tried to explain and show her how the process worksOur manager tried several times to explain and describe that the car wash is unable to cause the damage that *** was reporting had been made*** did request the company insurance and she was informed to contact her insurance to file a claim and that her insurance company would then get in touch with our companyPictures were then taken of her vehicle in anticipation of being contacted by her insurance.As of today 04-13-17 no contact has been made from her insurance company.Sincerely,Sponge Spa Car Washes
