Review: Issues with repair work done and not done on my Mazda 3, and charges for such work.

I bought my Mazda 3 from Main Auto on August 3, 2013. The oil light came on before I even made it home. We got a call a few weeks later stating that they forgot to do emissions and inspections before I bought the car. I took it in, and the horn was broken, yet they still passed it (illegal?). A few weeks later I was back in for a repair on the clutch. The previous service manager ([redacted]) called and left my husband a voicemail (we still have) stating it needed a new clutch, and they would "take care of it for us". I spoke with [redacted] the next day, and he said he was very sorry, and they would be putting one in and covering the cost. The next day I got a call from [redacted]. He said that [redacted] quit and didn't leave notes on the clutch so it would be $600.00. I told him I wanted to talk to my attorney before making a decision, he told me if my attorney was involved he would double the price. I ended up borrowing the money, and paying $600.00 via credit card on Friday the 1st of November, otherwise he said I would not get my car back.Desired Settlement: At this point, I just want my $600.00 back.

Review: I traded back a vehicle they sold to me that has major electrical issues from transmission, engine, brakes and instrument panel. The problem is they never have paid the bank loan off for the purchase yet. The bank wants a payment now and cause I can not they are destroying my credit rating for failing to make the car payment on time. I did call them and was told they would get it resolved. They took it back on 10/04/2013. I was assured they would pay off the loans debt. This still has not happened. They now have the car up for sale on their lot, again.

The dealership needs to pay off the car's loan as promised to the bank. It is now outstanding and my credit is being damaged over their neglect. I am pleading with the B.B.B. to look into this and support my claim to end this. Thank you.

Review: When we bought this car there were problems with the breaks and they told us they would fix this problem and they have made it worse.

When we first drove this car there were issues with the breaks and with the heater in the rear and when we told them they said they would fix it. We had it in the shop with them 4 different times the first time they told us on the breaks that it was just a little plastic piece that was broken and they fixed it and then tried telling us the heater problem was because I needed to run the front and back heater with the same controllers and I told them they wouldn't have put rear controllers in the car if it wasn't meant to be controlled differently. After we picked it up I was driving down the road and somebody was flashing me and pointing at my tire, so I pulled over and that tire was smoking... As I was driving down the road I pointed my rear view mirror down so I could see that tire and it was wobbling really bad so I called to put it BACK in the shop and after a week of being there they called me and told me it had a bent axel. I asked them how they were even able to sell a car with a bent axel because it wouldn't have passed safety and they tried accusing me of wrecking the vehicle and when I told them we hadn't wrecked it they said well then you hit a curb and I told them nope and they said well maybe somebody side swipped it and I finally told them I would pull my insurance and show them that as long as we had owned the vehicle it had not been wrecked. They finally agreed to fix it however they refused to give me an invoice for the fixtures. Not even a week after having the vehicle back from the shop the brake started smoking again so we called and they told us "well the mechanic crew we have had that has worked on your car previously was all fired because they weren't fixing things right" well We have had the car back now for 3 months and it is now shooting flames out from that tire and smoking (the tire is right under my gas tank) so I called them and told them it is still having issues and they are refusing to fix it unless we pay for the repairs. I told them I have a 6 yr old, 5 yr old, 2 yr old, 10 month old, and a 2 week old and that if my car catches on fire I will not be able to get all my kids out before the gas tank blows up and that this car has had these issues since we bought it and the owner himself was ignorant and rude and told me in order for them to look at it we would have to pay and hung up on me. All we want is for it to be fxed the RIGHT way..Desired Settlement: We just want the vehicle fixed the right way, the way they promised it would be fixed when we bought it. We have no other vehicle and my little 2 week old is still in the NICU on a ventilator and my wife isn't able to be there because I have to take our ONLY other vehicle to work and leave her home with no vehicle. Our son is having to miss kindergarten because she has no way to take him to school. They have already had the car a week and haven't even moved it from the parking stall it was dropped off in.
