Yes, I did yell at the technician but I have NEVER used the FwordI screamed because the owner assured me the day before that he would come out with the technician which he did not and the technician said the owner never mentioned to him that he was comingI have since had another company come out and was told the compressor was bad, the coil was bad and that oil was leaking because a nut (perhaps not the right word) was strippedAnd, the system was low on refrigerant( which the technician said there was too much of) I am now paying out of pocket for these repairs.Once again, I am incredibly upset and disappointed that Main Line Heating would attack me in that way

[redacted] has a reasonable complaint about the second floor not cooling but like you may know it is hard to cool a second floor because heat rises, you can install a high return to help and a lot of times it works but...

there is no guarantee. The problem we had we this customer was when our tech went out [redacted] was yelling and screaming at out tech and saying F this and F that, we will not sent another person from this company out to her house unless she remains calm. Her second floor has no insulation in the ceiling so how would a reasonable person expect their house to cool. but we can go out and check for a leak and look at the thermostat but we will not put up with any cursing at our service techs, they are not responsible for any problems.

Review: I had MAIN LINE HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING CO. replace our central air and heater in June.2011. I have paid for a service warranty every year since. I have called for service three times in the past two years. The air conditioner did not start last summer or this summer and the heater did not start this past winter. I asked the owner to come with the technician and he agreed. However, he DID NOT come and did not mention anything to the technician, The technician then said I probably needed more freon. I complained that a new system should not need to keep getting freon.Now,the company will not return my phone calls. I am trying to get things done around my house so I can retire. I think they are taking advantage of a senior citizen.The Company owner,at the time of installation, advised putting vents in the upstairs bedrooms to help cool the upstairs, at an additional cost.He said he works on these house all the time and knows what they need The upstairs is 12 degrees hotter than the downstairs and the vents do not do anything.Desired Settlement: I just want the heater and air conditioner serviced correctly so I do not need to call every summer and winter. I want the system checked to see if there is a leak and if that is the reason the freon is leaking and air does not come on. I want the thermostat replaced since the heater did not come on automatically, as we were told it would.And finally, I want something done to make the upstairs vents help cool the two small bedrooms up there. ( Since I paid and additional $1200. for them.
